Eakin [1883:71-73] doesn't mention a dau of Daniel and Elizabeth (Chiles) Fields named "Eliza", so she might be a daughter-in-law with her children. However, Eakin also does not list a wife named "Eliza" for any of Daniel and Elizabeth's sons. In the 1850 census, Daniel is next door to the household of a Catherine Fields, with four children. This could be "Katherine" (Souther) Chiles who according to Eaking [1983:73] married Daniel and Elizabeth's son, Willaim Henry.]
