; Per Genealogics:
"Kazimierz II, called 'the Just' was born in 1138, the youngest son of Boleslaw III Krzywousty, king of Poland, and his second wife Salome von Berg-Schelklingen, daughter of Heinrich I, Graf von Berg-Schelklingen. He reigned as duke of Kraków and senior prince of Poland from 1177 until his death.
"Born shortly before or after his father's death, and omitted (possibly for that reason) from Boleslaw's will dividing the kingdom among Kazimierz's four elder brothers, he set about securing the basis for a claim to power. In 1167 he inherited from his brother Henryk of Sandomierz the dukedom of Wislica, and in 1173 he obtained that of Sandomierz.
"Probably about 1163 Kazimierz married an unknown woman and they had one daughter and two sons. Both sons died in childhood but the daughter married and had progeny. About 1185/1186 Kazimierz married Helene who may have been a daughter of Rostislav I Mikhail, prince of Smolensk or Konrad, prince of Znaim. Kazimierz and Helene had two sons and both had progeny.
"In 1177 a rebellion by the barons of Lesser Poland against Kazimierz's brother Mieszko III 'the Old' led to the elevation of Kazimierz to the ducal throne of Kraków. In order to end internal conflicts within the decentralised Polish state, Kazimierz distributed lands to his nephews. Mieszko III was forced to give up Greater Poland to his son Odon. Kazimierz's older brother Boleslaw IV 'the Curly', receiving little support from a divided Poland, became a vassal of Heinrich 'the Lion', duke of Saxony. In 1181 he recognised the suzerainty of Friedrich I Barbarossa, Holy Roman Emperor, and Western Pomerania was lost to Poland.
"In 1180 Kazimierz called an assembly of nobles at Leczyca. He granted privileges to the nobles and the Church, lifting a tax on the profits of the clergy and relinquishing his rights to the lands of deceased bishops. By these acts he won acceptance of the principle of hereditary succession to Kraków, though it would take more than a century to restore the Polish kingship.
"Kazimierz died unexpectedly at a banquet on 5 May 1194, probably of poisoning. He was succeeded in Kraków by his son Leszek."1 EDV-25.

The Annales Cracovienses Compilati record the birth in 1138 of "Kazimirus filius Boleslay"[378]. The Chronica principum Polonie names "Boleslaum quartum, Mesiconem tercium, Henricum primum, et Kazimirum secundum, necnon Judittam" as the children of "Boleslaus" and his second wife "ex Theutunica"[379]. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "Vergescelaus…Mesico et Casemarus" as three brothers "in Polonia"[380]. The Chronicon Polono-Silesiacum records that Kazimierz succeeded his brother Hendryk in Sandomir[381]. "Casimirus Dux Poloniæ" founded the monastery of Sulejów by charter dated 10 Aug 1176[382]. He succeeded in 1177 as KAZIMIERZ II "Sprawiedliwy/the Just" Prince of Sandomir and Krakow. The Annales Capituli Cracoviensis record the death in 1186 of "dux Lezstko", specifying that "Kazimirus optinet ducatum"[383]. He succeeded his nephew Leszek in 1186 as Prince of Kujavia and Mazovia. There is some contradiction about the identity of the wife of Kazimierz II. According to Europäische Stammtafeln[389], she was HELENA of Moravia, daughter of KONRAD Duke of Moravia [P?emyslid] & his wife Marija of Serbia, although the primary source on which this is based has not been identified. According to Baumgarten, she was IELENA Rostislavna, daughter of ROSTISLAV Mstislavich Prince of Smolensk, later Grand Prince of Kiev & his wife ---, citing in particular the Ipatiewskaia Chronicle which records that Mstislav was the first cousin of Prince Leszek "Bialy", the son of Helena[390]."

"m ([1163]) HELENA, daughter of --- ([1140/42]-[1202/06]). "Dux Polonie Kazimirus" donated property in "Chropensium provinciam" to the church of Krakow St Wac?aw by charter dated 12 Apr 1189, witnessed by "domine Helene eiusdem ducis uxore"[387]. Baumgarten cites Polish chronicles which name her, from which her marriage can be dated, and which record that she died before [1206/07][388]. According to Baumgarten, she was IELENA Rostislavna, daughter of ROSTISLAV Mstislavich Prince of Smolensk, later Grand Prince of Kiev & his wife ---, citing in particular the Ipatiewskaia Chronicle which records that Mstislav was the first cousin of Prince Leszek "Bialy", the son of Helena[390]."

      ; Per Med Lands:
"LETAUD [Leotold] de Mâcon, son of AUBRY [I] Comte de Mâcon & his wife Tolana de Mâcon (915-3 Nov 961). The genealogy of the Comtes de Mâcon, included in the cartulary of Saint-Vincent de Mâcon, names "Letaudus filius eius [Alberici Narbonensis]"[21]. A manuscript genealogy, dated to the early 12th century, records "Letaldus comes Vesoncius et Umbertus comes Marisconensis fratres"[22]. "Albericus comes…filii mei Letboldus et Umbertus" donated property to Saint-Vincent de Mâcon by charter dated [930][23]. "Letaudus comes", his wife and their parents are named in his donation to Cluny dated [12 Apr] 935[24]. "Hugo...comes et marchio" donated property "in comitatu Belnensi...in uilla...Nolliacus et...in uilla Crisentiaco", for the souls of “genitoris nostri Richardi et Adheleidis”, in the presence of “Gilbertus comes, Albericus comes et filius eius Leotaldus et Adso noster fidelis”, by charter dated 1 Sep 936, subscribed by “...Roberti uicecomitis...”[25]. “Leuttaldus” donated “ecclesias...in villa...Gradiacus in honore Sancti Mauricii...alia in rure...Pontiliacus”, for the souls of “senioris mei Hugoni...Archicomitis...genitoris mei Alberici ac genetricis meæ Attalæ”, to the church of Besançon, with the consent of “Umberti fratris illius”, by charter dated 951, subscribed by “Widonis, Windilsmodi, Ugonis comitis Atoariorum...Alberici vicecomitis...”[26]. He succeeded his father as Comte de Mâcon. He is last named in a charter dated 961, but had presumably died before his son's donation dated Jan 962 which the latter made for the soul of his parents[27]. The necrology of Mâcon Cathedral records the death "III Non Nov" of "Letaudus comes"[28].
"m firstly ([930/935]) ERMENGARDE, daughter of Comte MANASSES & his wife Ermengarde --- (-before [941]). "Albericus comes" donated property to Saint-Vincent de Mâcon by charter dated to [936/41] subscribed by "Letaudi, Ermentrudis coniugis sue"[29]. She is named as wife of Letaud in the latter's charter dated [12 Apr] 935, which also names both his and her parents[30]. It is possible that she was Ermengarde, daughter of Manassès Comte de Dijon & his wife Ermengarde, who are the only contemporary noble couple with these names which has so far been identified in the region. The charter dated 14 Jan 971 under which her son "Albericus comes" donated property "in pago Matisconensi in villa…Lancus", which came to him from "Iohanne episcopo cum sorore sua Rotrude", to the abbey of Tournus may point to an alternative origin[31]. This document suggests a relationship between the bishop and the donor, especially because the bishop’s sister is named. The identity of "Bishop Jean" has not yet been found. "Letaudus comes et uxor mea Berta" donated property to Saint-Vincent-de-Mâcon for the souls of "patris mei Alberici…et matris mee Tolane…Irmengardis quondam uxoris sue" by charter dated to [941] subscribed by "Alberici filii sui"[32]. "Ermengardis dilettæ condam uxoris" is named in a donation made by her husband for her soul dated Feb 944[33].
"m secondly ([941]) BERTA, daughter of ---. Berta is named as wife of "Letaudus comes" in the latter's charters to Cluny dated Mar 943, Mar 944, and Mar 946[34]. The sources are contradictory when it comes to estimating the date of their marriage. "Berno episcopus" donated property to "Albericus comes" by charter dated "die Martis Kal Jan anno VIII regnante Rodulfo rege" [930], subscribed by "comes Letaldus, uxor eius Berta"[35]. However, the source referred to above dated [12 Apr] 935 names Ermengarde as the wife of Letaud at that date. The most likely explanation is that the former charter is incorrectly dated, especially in view of the Mâcon charter of Letaud's father which is dated [930] (see above) and which names his two sons without naming their wives. "Letaudus comes et uxor mea Berta" donated property to Saint-Vincent-de-Mâcon for the souls of "patris mei Alberici…et matris mee Tolane…Irmengardis quondam uxoris sue" by charter dated to [941] subscribed by "Alberici filii sui"[36]. "Berte comitisse" witnessed a charter of Manassès Archbishop of Arles dated Sep 948[37]. Szabolcs de Vajay suggests[38] that Berta was the daughter of Garnier [Warnarius] Vicomte de Troyes & his wife Tetberga d'Arles, but this seems difficult to sustain chronologically. "Lettaldus comes et uxor mea Berta" donated property to Saint-Vincent de Mâcon by charter subscribed by "Alberici filii sui"[39]. This charter is dated to [960] in the compilation, but this must be incorrect considering the earlier references to the third wife of Letaud.
"m thirdly (949 or before) RICHILDE, daughter of ---. "Richildis" witnessed the donation of "Leotbaldum comitis" to Cluny dated 948[40]. "Richelde" is named as wife of Letaud in the latter's donations to Cluny dated 949 and [955][41]."

Regina (Kuniz) (?) von Oltingen died after 12 April 1107; Per Med Lands: "REGINA [Kuniza] (-after 12 Apr 1107). "Regina ex prosapia non obscura…comitis Cononis filia qui frater extit Conraldi viri…in itinere Jerosolimitano defuncti, generi nimirum comitis Pictaviensis" donated property to the abbey of Marcigny-sur-Loire where she was about to become a nun, for the foundation of the priory of Aiwaille, by charter dated 1088, which states that "me maritalis jugi sarcina exoneravit" which suggests an amicable separation from her husband[422]. The charter dated 1095 under which "Guillelmus comes" donated property to Marcigny-sur-Loire names "mater mea Cuniza Cononis filia"[423]. She is named "mater mea Regina" in her son's 1107 charter which also names her father "avi ac nutritoris mei Cononis comitis"[424]. In a charter dated 1139, "Albero…Leodiensium episcopus" notes a donation of property to the abbey of Marcigny-sur-Loire by "domna Ermensendis comitissa de Musalt, quæ uxor extitit…comitis Alberici" on the suggestion of "quadam nobili et religiosa fœmina nomine Regina, sibi enim consanguinea"[425], the original donation presumably being dated before [1109] when Ermesinde married her second husband. It is likely that "Regina" in this charter was Regina von Oltingen, whose mother was first cousin to Ermesinde. m (before [1085], separated) RENAUD II Comte Palatin de Bourgogne, son of GUILLAUME I "le Grand" Comte Palatin de Bourgogne & his wife Etiennette --- (-[Palestine 1097 or Summer 1101])."

He was the viscount of Narbonne and the first count of Mâcon from 932 to 943, and lord of Salins from 942 to 943.
