He wasdischarged under a surgeon's certificate of disability after four months in themilitary hospitals. He re-entered the building business, but in 1871, whileresiding in Washington D.C., he became interested in the manufacture of soda waterappart- us, and moved to Philadelphia for the purpose of embarking in thebusiness .¹

     Louisa B. Gelston married Robert M. Green, son of Peter W. Green and Rachel McCay.¹

     Frank D. Green was born on 19 May 1870.¹ He married Freda B. Goldsmith on 27 October 1891.¹

     Robert M. Green Jr. married Nettie M. Powell on 22 April 1896.¹
