     Harriet M. Miller - Mrs. Harriet M. Miller, age 87, of Landenberg, PA, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Linden Hall in Kennett Square, PA.
     Born in Heuvelton, NY on June 8, 1922, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late John E. DeLair and Mary Parrish DeLair. She was a talented homemaker throughout her life and delighted in caring for and spending time with her beloved family. In her leisure hours, she greatly enjoyed scrapbooking, watching favorite game shows and stock car racing, and solving challenging crossword puzzles. She also astounded everyone with her tremendous good luck in winning with scratch-off lottery tickets.
     Her beloved husband of 66 years, Quinton J. Miller, died in 2007. She is survived by her children, Janet Graham (Richard) of Landenberg, PA; Kenneth Miller of Suffern, NY; David Miller (Pamela) of Schenectady, NY; and John Miller (Karen) of Albany, NY; grandchildren, Brian Graham (Colleen), Steven Graham (Chrystal), Jennifer Muzzi (Christopher), Danielle Winne, Christopher Miller, and Kenneth Miller, Jr; and great grandchildren; Michael, Shelby, Ashley, Ryan, Connor, and Spencer Graham and DeLaira Muzzi.
     A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, on Tuesday, June 1, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

     J. Albert DeLair was born in Heuvelton, Dec. 13, 1926 , a son of John and Mary Parrish DeLair. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army's 11th Airborne division.
     He married Pauline Wood Tucker July 3, 1959, in the United Presbyterian Church in Lisbon.
     Mr. DeLair lived all his life in Heuvelton. Following his discharge from the Army, he was employed by Western Condenser and later drove a tractor-trailer for McConvilles and Lloyd Finley. He also worked on the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway, and in 1957, went to work as a custodian and bus driver for Heuvelton Central School, retiring in 1979 because of ill health.
     He was a member and past fire chief of the Heuvelton Fire Department and a member and past commander of Robert J. Woodside Post, American Legion. He was also a past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Ogdensburg, and a member of VanHeuvel Masonic Lodge.
     Mr. DeLair was a member and past patron of the Florence B. Beattie Order of the Eastern Star and a past grand lecturer of the first St. Lawrence District OES. He was a past president of the Heuvelton Civil Service Employees Association and a past first vice president of the St. Lawrence County CSEA.

     Funeral services for Pauline W DeLair, age 82, of Heuvelton will be held at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Foxwood Memorial Park.
     Mrs. DeLair passed away at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center on April 11, 2015.
Surviving are two sons, Robert DeLair of Massena and Duane(Jan) Delair of Arkansas; a daughter Diane (Stuart) Edwards of Caledonia; two brothers, Dale (Phyllis)Wood of Littlestown, Pa and Bruce(Phyllis)Wood of Liston; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Her husband J. Albert DeLair; and a grandson, Dana DeLair predeceased her.
Pauline was born on August 12, 1932 in Lisbon, a daughter of the late Clifford & Beulah LaLone Wood. She graduated from Lisbon Central School and continued her education at the Ogdensburg Business School. She later married J. Albert DeLair on July 3, 1959 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lisbon.
     She worked as an administrative assistant for SLC Emergency Services for 25 years and retired in 1975. Pauline was a past member of the Heuvelton Fire Department Auxilliary and the Florence B Beatty Chapter Chapter of OES.
     Pauline M Woods was twice married. The first marriage was to Robert Joseph Tucker Sr in 1949, which while ending in divorce produce 3 children. Pauline remarried in 1959 to John Albert Delair Jr, who adopted Robert's 3 children and raised them as his own.

     Quinton J. Miller - Mr. Quinton J. Miller, age 85, of Newark, DE, died on Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Heartland Hospice House.
     Mr. Miller was born Union County, SD on August 16, 1921, son of the late Joseph A. Miller and Marie Moline Miller. A telephone engineer by profession and member of the Telephone Pioneers, he enjoyed a 39-year career with New York Telephone until his retirement. Mr. Miller proudly served his country in the US Army from 1939 to 1945 and was currently a member of J. Allison O'Daniel Post 475, VFW in Newark. He remained interested in World War II history throughout his life and maintained an interesting collection of war-era memorabilia.
     He is survived by his wife, Harriet M. Miller; 4 children, Janet Graham and husband, Richard, of Landenberg, PA; Kenneth Miller of Sloatsburg, NY; David Miller and wife, Pamela, of Schenectady, NY; and John Miller and wife, Karen, of Albany, NY; sister, Fern Bickett of Adrian, MN; 6 grandchildren, Brian Graham and wife, Colleen, Steven Graham, Jennifer Muzzi and husband, Christopher, Danielle Winne and husband, Richard, Christopher Miller and Kenneth Miller, Jr; and 5 great grandchildren, Michael, Shelby, Ashley, Ryan and Connor Graham.
