Marriage #3 (above) is so far unidentified. Elizabeth CREEL/CREAL could conceivably have been a first wife of Thomas J., who died right after their marriage, but there is no proof of this.
Marriage #4 (above) is probably Thomas's son, Thomas J. The 1850, 1860 and 1870 censuses show that the Thomas Thomas J. in 1850 & 1870) who married a Jane was born ca 1804-5. Marriage #2 (above) seems to have been for this Thomas DOGGETT. He would have been 24 at the time. Susannah was probably the wife of some or all of Thomas's earlier children.
Marriage #3 (above) is so far unidentified. Elizabeth CREEL/CREAL could conceivably have been a first wife of Thomas J., who died right after their marriage, but there is no proof of this.

"Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Doggett John Browning are held and firmly bound unto their Honors the Judges of the Court of Ordinary for said County and their successors in office in the just and full sum of one thousand dollars for the payment of which sum to the said judges and their successors we bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole sum jointly and severally firm by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 1st day of May 1820.
"The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Thomas Doggett administrator of the goods chattles and credits of Chatten Doggett Junr late of this county deceased do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattles and credits of said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of said Thomas or into the hands possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit into the said court of ordinary when he shall be thereunto required and such goods chattles and credits do well and truly administer according to law and do make a just account of his action and doing therein when he shall be thereunto required by the Court of Ordinary for said county and all the rest of the goods chattles and credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said administration the same being first allowed of by the court shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased and the same be proved before the court and the executors obtain certificate of the probate thereof and the said Thomas Doggett do in such cases if required render and deliver up the said letters of administration then this obligation to be void.

Marriage(s) of Chatten DOGGETT Sr.
Some family trees claim that Chatte/Chattin/Chatwin DOGGETT, Sr. #91096 married a Sarah Ann YANCEY (or Ann). There is a Yancy family website that claims that a an Ann YANCY m. a Greorge [sic] DOGGETT of NC. I can find no evidence that this "George" was in fact the same person as Chatte/Chattin/Chatwin DOGGETT, Sr. #91096.
There is evidence of Chatten having married a "Sarah" and that it was possibly Sarah REYNOLDS, though this evidence is not conclusive.
Some family trees have also said that Chatten Sr. #91096 married a Polly Wilkes or Polly Wells. there is evidence for such a marriage, but I think that it is more likely that it was his son Chatten, Jr. who married a Polly.11,12,3 He and Chatten/Chattin Doggett Sr. were Research Issues I find it difficult to dterminne which of the records from 1800-1820 related to Chaten the father #91096 and Chaten the son #91115.
Location is one problem:
>Chatten Sr. was born in VA and lived much of his life there. A Chattin Dogett shows up in GA ca 1800. this could be Chatten Sr., but it could also be Chatten Jr.
>It seems clear that Chaten Jr.'s will was probated in GA in 1820, but there was also a will of a Chatten DOGGETT probatd there in 1817 which could have been Chatten Sr.
Marriages are problematic:
>The 1801 marriate in TN is hard to assign to father or son. However, One reference for this marriage to Peggy Wilkes gives a birthdate of 1774 for the groom, Chattin DOGGETTT, which would mean it was probably Chatten Jr.
>The 1807 marriage from TN contract is probably not for Chaten Sr. as he would hav been elderly, but could have been for Chatten Jr. Had Peggy (Wilkes) DOGETT died and Chatten Jr. was remarrying?3

Marriage(s) of Chatten DOGGETT Sr.
Some family trees claim that Chatte/Chattin/Chatwin DOGGETT, Sr. #91096 married a Sarah Ann YANCEY (or Ann). There is a Yancy family website that claims that a an Ann YANCY m. a Greorge [sic] DOGGETT of NC. I can find no evidence that this "George" was in fact the same person as Chatte/Chattin/Chatwin DOGGETT, Sr. #91096.
There is evidence of Chatten having married a "Sarah" and that it was possibly Sarah REYNOLDS, though this evidence is not conclusive.
Some family trees have also said that Chatten Sr. #91096 married a Polly Wilkes or Polly Wells. there is evidence for such a marriage, but I think that it is more likely that it was his son Chatten, Jr. who married a Polly.11,12,3 He and Chatten/Chattin Doggett Sr. were Research Issues I find it difficult to dterminne which of the records from 1800-1820 related to Chaten the father #91096 and Chaten the son #91115.
Location is one problem:
>Chatten Sr. was born in VA and lived much of his life there. A Chattin Dogett shows up in GA ca 1800. this could be Chatten Sr., but it could also be Chatten Jr.
>It seems clear that Chaten Jr.'s will was probated in GA in 1820, but there was also a will of a Chatten DOGGETT probatd there in 1817 which could have been Chatten Sr.
Marriages are problematic:
>The 1801 marriate in TN is hard to assign to father or son. However, One reference for this marriage to Peggy Wilkes gives a birthdate of 1774 for the groom, Chattin DOGGETTT, which would mean it was probably Chatten Jr.
>The 1807 marriage from TN contract is probably not for Chaten Sr. as he would hav been elderly, but could have been for Chatten Jr. Had Peggy (Wilkes) DOGETT died and Chatten Jr. was remarrying?3
