In the name of God, amen: I Jacob Dobler, Sr. of Wythe County in the State of Virginia now of sound and disposing memory, do make this my last Will in manner and form following that is to say.
First, it is my will that all my just debts and funeral expense be punctually paid and discharged.
Secondly, it is my will that after the payment of my debts aforsaid that Mary my wife shall have my Negro Boy named Moses, and my Negro girl named Mary and I give and bequeath the said Negroes Slaves, Moses and Mary, to Mary my wife and her heirs forever. It is also my will that Mary my wife shall have the following property to wit: One black mare with her colt, if she shall have one, two cows and two calves, four head of sheep, eight head of hogs, choice of my stock, one other beef cow or steer, all my meat, salt, and grain of every description or kind, all my hay, one women's saddle, one riding bridle, one bed with it's furniture, one painted cupboard or kitchen dresser, all my cupboard furnitures including my pewter, two brass candlesticks, one little wheel, two chests, one small table, one teakettle, one looking glass, one set of fire dogs, one pair of tongs and shovel, one hand bellows, two pots, and one dutch oven, one small skillet, two chairs, two water buckets, one washing tub, one small tin trunk, one flare hackle, one brass wire sifter, one coffee mill, all my wool, flare and thread, two pot hooks, two hogsheads, three milk crocks, one watering pot, one bead stead without a bed, one garden hoe and spade, one ax, and I give and bequeath all the above mentioned property of every description or kind to Mary my wife and her heirs forever.
Thirdly, it is my will and order that Henry Huddle who I constitute and approve to be my executor of this last will, and shall as soon as conveniently he can after my decease sell all the balance of my personal property and divide the price thereof amounts my five children; Margaret Vaut, Anne Cook, Sally Miller, Esther Davis and Susanna Miller and the heirs of my daughter Betsy Vaut, deceased shall have her equal part equally divided amongst them.
4th I give and bequeath my son in law Michael Cassell $2 and no more for his share.
5th I give and bequeath Jacob Dobler $2 and no more for his share
6th I give and bequeath to my daughter Rachel Marshall $2 and no more for her share.
7th It is my will and order that Henry Huddle, who I have appointed to be my Executor to this my will shall keep Ann Cook, equal parts in his own hands or put it into the hands of any person he may think proper and advance the same to her in such sums and at such time as he may find that she stands in need of the same and if it should so happen that Ann Cook should die while the whole or any part of her share remain not paid to her it shall be equally divided amoungst my five children named in the third section of this my will.
8th If it should happen at my decease that I should have any money in hand or debts due to me in that case it is my will that my executor shall collect the same and pay the whole amount thereof to Mary my wife and I give and bequeathe the said money and debts to her and her heirs forever.
And I do hereby make null and void all and every other or former wills and acknowledge this to be my true last will and testament this sixteenth day of September one thousand eight hundrend and seventeen.

In the name of God Amen: I Joseph Hough of Hanover Township in the County of Lancaster and province of Pennsylvania Yeoman being week in Body but in perfect mind and memory blefsed (blessed) be God for his marcies (mercies) I Publish and make this my last Will and Testament this twelfth Day of April 1768 in manner and form as followeth:
First I order and allow all my just debts to be paid after my decease
IMPRIMIS
I will and bequeath to my Daughter Rachel Heirs the Sum of Five Shillings Pennsylvania Money for her share & no more.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Dobler the sum of Five shillings and no more for her share.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Clark all my beds and furniture for her share & no more.

Arrived on the ship "Love and Unity" at Martha's Vineyard along with Henry BOUGH\BAUGH; Jacob HOUGH; Johan Petter HAUGH\HOUGH; Martin SEBERLIE\SNAVELY; and Johan Peter WOLF. They were then transferred to the ship "Loyal Judith" to go to port of Philadelphia. Arriving Philadelphia on 3 Sep 1739.

In the name of God Amen: I Joseph Hough of Hanover Township in the County of Lancaster and province of Pennsylvania Yeoman being week in Body but in perfect mind and memory blefsed (blessed) be God for his marcies (mercies) I Publish and make this my last Will and Testament this twelfth Day of April 1768 in manner and form as followeth:
First I order and allow all my just debts to be paid after my decease
IMPRIMIS
I will and bequeath to my Daughter Rachel Heirs the Sum of Five Shillings Pennsylvania Money for her share & no more.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Dobler the sum of Five shillings and no more for her share.
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Clark all my beds and furniture for her share & no more.
I will and bequeath to my Joseph Hough all the remainder of my whole Estate Rayl (real) & Personal whatsoever within Doors and without Doors (indoors & outdoors) all money due whatsoever mentioned in a Certain Instrument of Writing bearing Date the first Day of June A. D. 1764 & if my said son Joseph should happen to dye before he become to full age and without issue then it is my will and I order his Estate above mentioned to be Equally to be devided between the Children of my Daughter Elizabeth Clark when the Eldest comes to be of full Age. I will and make constitute and appoint my trusty friend Joseph Stout and Samuel Jones of Bethel Township to be my Sole Executors of this my Last Will and testament to Act and manage the fame (same)

On 1 June 1764, Joseph Hough sold 174 acres by the side of Swatara Creek in Hanover township, Lancaster County, including Benjamin Clark's Improvement, and Abraham Williams' Improvement, (Patented 8 Jan 1741 to Joseph Hough) to William Clark; via a mortgage of L250. Filed 10 Oct 1764. On 24 May 1770, Joseph Stout, one of the executors of Joseph's Will, acknowledged satisfaction of the debt.
