Their son, William David "Buddy" Beauchamp, was born 5 Dec 1859 in DeKalb
Co, GA. They moved to Stewart Co, GA where the family was in the 1860
census. A son, Charles E, was born Abt 1861 and a daughter TE was born Abt
1863. EP briefly signed on as a solider in the Civil War (then provided a
substitute, Solomon Jones.)
Frances Harrell Beauchamp died before 1874 when the family moved to
Lampassas Co, TX. They then moved to Buffalo Gap, Taylor Co, TX where EP
became the County Judge. They are found in the 1880 census. The family
also had a daughter, Elandra, born Abt 1854 in GA. I don't know if she
stayed in GA, moved to Lampassas and stayed or what. She is not in the 1880
census in Taylor Co, TX.
William David "Buddy" attended college in Buffalo Gap, then married Sarah
Margaret "Maggie" Webb (born 8 Nov 1865, Graves Co, KY, daughter of Warren
Elijah Webb and Sarah Margaret Hocker) on 27 Oct 1886 in Johnson Co, TX and
they first lived in Bufalo Gap, Taylor Co, TX. Their children were Fannie
Mae and her twin brother Willie Rae (who died as a baby) born in Buffalo
Gap, Taylor Co TX in June 1888; Empress, born 27 Feb 1890 on a ranch in
Irion Co, TX (the ranch belonged to Buddy's brother Charlie); Harold William
Beauchamp born 1893 in Eastland Co, TX (Harold was named for the Harrell
family. He served in the Marines in WW1 and died of flu 25 Dec 1925 in a
hospital in CA); a daughter who died in infancy in 1897 in Eastland Co, TX,
Emma Ruth Beauchamp born 1900 in Eastland Co, TX; and Sarah Lucille
Beauchamp born 1905 in Stewart Co, GA.
The family moved back to TX to Fisher Co, where Buddy and Maggie lived until
their death. EP married Alabama Wood, a widow, 20 Jan 1893 in Brazos Co,
TX. She was born in Washington Co, TX July 1853. EP died 30 Dec 1917 in Ft
Worth, Tarrent Co, TX.
