DIED - At her residence near Greensborough on Monday, Julia A. McGonigal relict of the late Robert McGonigal aged about 65 years.

     Death of an Estimable Lady
     Mrs. Julia A. McGonigal died at her residence near Greensborough on Monday morning last. Her death was sudden though she was in feeble health for a number of years. Deceased was the widow of Robert B. McGonigal a name familiar in his day from his stirring and prosperous life in Greensborough where he died over twenty years ago. He left no children and his widow never remarried. She settled on the farm after her husband's death and lived a life marked by Christian kindness and beatitude. She made a will naming her nephew Mr. Robert Jarrell executor. In it she provided that the Goldsborough church shall receive an annuity of $60 binding upon the Goldsborough farm, which she leaves to Mr. Jarrell subject to that charge. She devises the Greensborough property to John DeFord and leaves him $500 in money. Her executor is required to sell all the residue of her property and apply the proceeds to the payment of a number of bequests among them are $500 to Anna Larrimore a young woman who had lived with the deceased a number of years; $100 to the Sunday School of the Goldsborough church and many smaller ones.
