Jonathan Todd Jr. was born circa 1841 at Andrew Co., Ohio, USA; Age 9 in 1850 census. Jonathan, Jr. is too hold to have been Jonathan, Sr.'s son by Patsey Ann's and Jonathan, Sr. and Patsey Ann weren't married until 1846. However, he is too told to be a brother of Jonathan, Sr.. So I assume that Jonathan, Sr. had an earlier wife before Patsey. GA Vaut.1,2

Obituary from Find A Grave memorial:
W. J. TODD Sr., died at his home in Canadian on December 21st. With the death of Judge TODD the Panhandle has lost one of its pioneer and most esteemed citizens.
W. J. TODD was born in November 1852, in the State of Missouri. He came to this county from Colorado in 1885 and took charge of the Bar C Ranch. At this time the Bar C range compromised all of Ochiltree and Roberts and parts of the adjoining counties, their headquarters being on Wolf Creek just below the A. M. Jines place.
Mr. TODD was the first County Judge of this county being elected in 1889 and serving for two terms. He is remembered as being a man of sterling integrity, the man who made Ochiltree the second prohibition county in Texas and who was always ready with his time and money for the things worth while and who made the world better for having lived in it.
