They remained there until their deaths. Thomas Paine left a will in Orange County dated 15 November 1809, which was offered for probate 5 September 1815. It is not known exactly when Elizabeth Paine died, but from the will of Thomas Paine it is clear that she was still alive when he died. Thomas and Elizabeth Paine were parents of 12 children.
