(illegible) and making reasonable allowance for the time the said Robert Armstrong and his family have been drove away from (illegible) absent from the said plantation on account of Indians (illegible);
And provided that if the said Robert Armstrong shall (illegible) and fully comply with said terms in six months now (illegible) Warrant and survey to be made thereon shall be (illegible) void anything herein before mentioned or contained to the contrary in any but notwithstanding.

NOTE: There is also a Robert Armstrong listed as a Freeman in East Pennsboro Township in the 1782 Cumberland Co. Supply Rate list. "Robert" is a common name among Scots Armstrong families, but E. Pennsboro is in today's Cumberland Co., south of the Susquehanna River and it doesn't seem likely that Robert, brother of Alexander, would have been recorded in both places in the same year.
It isn't clear to my why there seem to be two different 1782 Supply Rate lists for Greenwood (on Ancestry.com). Robert is listed as a Freeman in both versions, but is taxed at 3 pounds in one list and at 2 pounds 10 shillings in the other.28,29,30,31

; Cumberland Co. Marriages 1761-1800 (p.3) lists the marriage of a Robert Armstrong to an Isabel Forster on July 26, 1768, performed by Rev. Robert Davidson. ; There is a 26 July 1768 marriage listed for a Robert Armstrong to Isabel Forster. This might be this Robert's wife, though his will doesn't mention a wife or any children. The marriage was performed by Rev. J. C. Bucher.18

Robert is listed as a Freeman in both versions, but is taxed at 3 pounds in one list and at 2 pounds 10 shillings in the other.28,29,30,31

; per Anderson (2004), p. 197: "The definitive article on Richard Church was published by robert S. Wakefield in 1985 [TAG 60:129-139]. He analyzed in great detail the list of children for Richard Church, and discarded four alleged children included in many previous accounts of the family [TAG 60:138-39]. We concur in this ... We do not include even as a possibility the questionable son Richard, for whom there is no documentation, and we differ slightly in some of the estimated dates of birth, where we place no reliance at all on LCVR."1,2
