     Eldon Coye Parsons, 87, of Beaumont died Friday, September 16, 2005 at Pine Forest Nursing Home. Born July 17, 1918 in Gallatin, Texas, he was the son of Rufus and Margarete Parsons. He lived most of his life in Beaumont, before retiring to Saratoga, Texas. Mr. Parsons was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during World War II and was the manager of Consolidated Electrical Distributors for many years. As well as being an excellent carpenter, having built his own house, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Parsons of Saratoga; son, Eldon Parsons of Beaumont; daughters, Darlene Scoggan and her husband James of Houston and Janet and Donna of Indiana. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2005 at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial at Magnolia Cemetery.
