She was a homemaker, and a member of the Mountain Valley United Methodist Church. She was a lover of cats, and enjoyed flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul M. Huffman in 1984.
     She is survived by 5 daughters, Mary Alda "Bea" Murray St Clair and her husband Lewis of Covington, Willetta Murray Smiley of Craigsville, Virginia, Edith Booth Bradberry and her husband Bobby of Clifton Forge, Susie Murray Plasters of Covington, Judy Huffman Cahoon and her husband Wayne of Cloverdale, Virginia; 3 sons, Egbert Tatum Murray, Jr. Of Baltimore, Maryland, Ernest Clinton Murray and his wife Elinor of Arroyo Grande, California, and William Kemper Murray of Covington; a step son, Wayne Huffman; a former daughter in law Norma Morgan of Eagle Rock, Virginia; 17 Grandchildren, Andy St Clair, Joy S. Littleton, Jesse Smiley Jr., Robert Smiley, Stephanie Clifton, Ray E. Plasters III, Lisa Marie Plasters, Heather Cahoon, Joan Murray, Nina Plitt , Marlene Murray, Kathy Knox, Paul Murray, Alice Blatt, Jonathan Murray, Kelly Slusser and Kris Dean; 18 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 1 brother, 3 son-in-laws Ray Plasters, Jr. , Joe Booth, Jesse Smiley; 2 Granddaughters Esther St Clair and Nanette Booth; 1 Grandson Nathan Smiley. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Gertrude Murray.
