Mrs. Mary Bettie High, 80, died Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the Cookeville General hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held here Wednesday at Whitson's funeral home with the Rev. James Reed Cox officiating. Burial was in Cookeville cemetery. She was the widow of George Winston High. She was a member of the First Methodist church in Cookeville. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Tinnon of Cookeville; a son, Raymond High of Oak Ridge; two brothers, Harrison Young of Elmwood and George Young of Miami, FL, and three grandchildren.
