Rachel Meek was born on 21 August 1777.2 She married David Cassiday in 1798 at Pennsylvania, USA,
; DAR Application No. 221410 lists her husband's last name as "McComb."1
Rachel Meek died on 21 July 1845 at age 67.2
; I have Rachel as being born August 21, 1777 and dying July 21, 1845. I have her parents as Robert and Elizabeth, born around 1735 in Maryland. I have another record of them coming from Wales. The Samuel Meek side is father of Rachel. Can't remember where I got it but I think it was on the net somewhere. Samuel was son of Jacob, son of Adam Meek. Biblical names going back to England 1600s.2
