Her body was brought through the deep snow on a sled to the church for burial. After her death he married Maria Barbara Eyler. The daughter of Johann Jacob Eyler and Susanna Maria Fohl.
     Information from "Harbaugh History" (Page 148) as follows: *All these data from the Graceham Church records in the York Hist. Society from which we quote the following verbatim -
     There were five children:
     (1.) John George Harbaugh Jr., b. November 11, 1771, married Amy Hall, removed to Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
     (2.) Jacob Harbaugh (1773-1850), married Annie Richter.
     (3.) Elizabeth Harbaugh, married Mercus Fetter
     (4.) John Harbaugh (1778-1854), removed to Wayne County, Ohio, his wife has not been established.
     (5.) Infant daughter (1/10/1780-1/10/1780).
     Elizabeth buried her deceased infant daughter in the garden the same day herself. Elizabeth died 13 days after her infant daughter.

     John George (8/11/1747 - ?), eldest son of George and Catherine (Williar) Harbaugh married first Nov. 27, 1770, to Elizabeth Benkele (or Binchele). There were 5 children listed born to this couple (George Jr. 1771- ); Jacob (1773-1850); Elizabeth (1775-1855); John (1778-1854); and Infant daughter (1/10/1780-1/10/1780). Elizabeth "buried her infant daughter in the garden the same day herself." Elizabeth died 13 days after her infant daughter. He body was brought through the deep snow on a sled to the church for burial.
     George's second wife was Marie Barbara by whom he had five children: Anna Marie (1782- ); Benjamin (1783 -); Daniel (1785-1845); Marie Barbara (1787-1789); and Frederick (1791 - ). George lived for some time on the old homestead. Afterwards he removed to Bedford Co., PA and on one occasion, coming to the Valley on a visit, he took sick and died on his way home.
