      ; Michael Kantakouzenos, he was one of the conspirators against Emp Isaakios II and helped dethrone him, fl 1195; m.N Doukas, dau.of Ioannes Doukas the sebastokrator [Note: It is surmised that Michael's child was Iaonnes Kantkouzenos. This is based on the fact that Ioannes was the grandson of the sebastokrator Ioannes Doukas, one of the sons of Constantine Angelos and Theodora Komnene, dau.of Emp Alexios I Komnenos. As Ioannes Doukas' unidentified daughter married Michael Kantakouzenos, he was in all likelihood Ioannes's father].2 Michael Kantakuzenos was also known as Michael Cantacuzène.1 He was living in 1195.2
