Although I have his birth year as 1624 that is only because of the baptism year. I know that sometimes baptisms were not done right away so 1624 may not be his actual birth year. Anyone have any thoughts on this matter?

HANNAH, was Thomas Mayhew's 1st child by his second wife, Jane (Gallion) Paine. She was born 15 June 1635 [WaVR 4]. She married by about 1652 Thomas Doggett, son of JOHN DOGGETT .

"A History of the Doggett-Daggett Family" contains a copy of Hannah's will which was dated 22 Aug 1710 and proved 7 Feb 1722/3. I have found no other records with a specific date of death beyond the year, 1722/3. Also, I do not know how "true" this is, but it makes for a great "family story" that you might consider adding to her bio. When Hannah became of age, her father offered a very large tract of land, silver, and money to the young man who would marry her. Both Doggett sons, John and Thomas, pursued Hannah. She chose Thomas stipulating that he change his name from “Doggett” to “Daggett”.

From FindaGrave:
Birth     Aug 1626, Smarden, Ashford Borough, Kent, England
Death     25 Jul 1711 (aged 84), Tisbury, Dukes County, Massachusetts, USA
JEREMIAH: bp Smarden, Kent, 6 Aug 1626; m. by an unknown date Elizabeth Doggett, daughter of John Doggett .
Jeremiah (or Jeremy) was a young boy when he, with his family, moved from England to Massachusetts in the USA. The father, Thomas, brought with him his wife Audrey and their eight-year-old son Jeremiah, eight years of age, as well as their children James, Sarah, and three stepchildren from Audrey's first marriage.
Jeremiah apparently lived in Plymouth, Massachusetts with his father until his middle twenties, then moved to Sandwich, MA (on Cape Cod) where he lived for another period of years, and finally settled in the community of Tisdale, MA (on Martha's Vineyard). Jeremiah's wife was Elizabeth Daggett, daughter of John Daggett of Martha's Vineyard. Jeremiah appears not to have married until he was nearly 50 years old, and he lived to be 84. There are two known children of this marriage, Thomas, and Mary, and possibly a third, Josiah. From the tone of Jeremiah's Will it appears that both sons, if there were two sons, died young without issue. Mary, his daughter, married Benjamin Manter, and there was at least one child from this marriage, Whiton Manter.
(The above was taken from The Whiton Family Bulletin [Spring 1970 issue], which got it from the July 1969 issue of the New England Historical and Genealogical Register.)
