"I Henry Vaught of Pulaski County Kentucky, do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say...
"1st I desire that all the perishable feast of my estate not herein otherwise disposed of, be immediately sold after my decease, on such credit as my Executor may think best, and out of the moneys arising therefrom, I desire my first debts and funeral expences paid and the balance divided, the one third to my wife Mary M. "3rd I desire that my wife Mary M. "4th In addition to the items of personal property such as I have given my older daughters who are married which items I will furnish and set apart to them myself, I give to my daughters Amanda Jane and Mary Vaught the Charley Dick house and fifty acres of land off that and of my farm.
"5th I give my son David Franklin Vaught all the balance of my farm subject to the life estate reserved to my wife Mary M.
Vaught, the other two thirds to all my children equally.
"2nd I give my daughter Rosanna S. Vaught one cold, one cow, one sow, two sheep, and bed & furniture, one wheel, & one pot and a set of knives & forks & a set of tea cups & saucers. Should these items not be on hands at my death I desire my Executor to purchase and pay for them out of my personal property.
"3rd I desire that my wife Mary M. Vaught in case she survives me have the use of my dwelling house and other buildings round and about it, together with enough of my farm to raise her a reasonable support during her natural life, in case my son David Franklin Vaught should fail to provide for her a comfortable home and maintenance.
Vaught as above provided, in addition to the hour and other items of personal property heretofore set apart and given to him, but in consideration of this devise I require him to pay to my children (to wit) Betsy Vaught, wife of Benj Vaught, Petty wife of Iverson Warrener, Sophia wife of Wm Newell, Nancy wife of James Collins & Harriet wife of Addison Butt, the sum of twenty dollars each.
"And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son David Franklin Vaught Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this 2nd day of March 1861.

Mary Magdalena "Molly" Cormany and Jacob Vaught appeared in the census of 1820 at Somerset, Pulaski Co., Kentucky, USA;
There are two Jacob VAUGHTs in the 1820 census for Somerset, Pulaski Co.KY. There are one adult male and one adult female in each listing which could match Jacob and Mary (Cormany). However, According to Spurlin & Martin [1898-95:IVa:19-21], Jacob had at least 5 living children in 1820 (excluding children who may have died young): 1 son (William age ca 8) and 4 daughters (Katherine age ca 9, Margaret age c6, Mary age ca 3 and Sarah age 2). Censuys #1 lists 4 young boys and 1 young girl (the inverse of Jacob's case) and Census #2 lists 2 boys and 1 girl. So neither listing matches Jacob exactly.
