I believe that I may have confounded two different William FERGUSONS. One was the son of Joshuan FERGUSON (1753-1836), as recorded as deceased in Joshua's 1836 will, and one who married Lucinda Ann FRY, the dau. of Isaac FRY (as recorded in an unknown book seen on Ancestry.com). It is possible that there were two Joshuas and and both had sons named William. with William Madison Ferguson Sr.2,1

Isaac Fry emigrated in 1800 from Shelby Co., Kentucky, USA; moved from Frederick Co., Va., to Sheby Co., Ky., "in 1800."1

Isaac Fry appeared in the census of 7 August 1820 at Shelby Co., Kentucky, USA;
Isaac is on the same page as his son-in-law, William FERGUSON (line 17) and William's father, Joshucah C. FERGUSON (line 12).
