     In the 1820 and 1830 censuses, Reuben's father is listed as "John PARKS". In the 1820 census (p. 433, line 4). The same tree also shows two brothers of Reuben named Charles PARKS (1755-1753) and John PARKS (1778-1862), so these other two PARKS households are likely related to Reuben: his father and brother or two brothers.
     Interestingly, there is a William CROSWELL (line 7) on the same page, who could be a relative of Ruben's wife Priscilla (CROSWELL).

Richard Hickman is believed to have been succeeded by a son of the same name. In 1755 Richard Hickman Sr. deeded 100 acres to William Hickman Jr. In 1761 William left to his brother George, an little later the land was acquired by Thomas Snead through foreclosure of a mortgage and in 1786 he and his wife Elizabeth sold it to Parker Barnes; a survey showed it to have been at the south end of the tract and about in the middle from east to west.
