He and Martin Gentry Sr. were Research Issues
NB: I may have made an error in assigning the Martin GENTRY in Bullitt Co. as the sone of Nicholas III GENTRY and Elizabeth (STRINGER) GENTRY. Gentry [1909:39] lists a Martin, born 1760, as the son of theirs, but on p. 67 shows this son, Martin (b. 1760) as moving to Oglethorpe Co., GA and dying there in 1863 at the age of 103.
Per Gentry [1909:67]:
MARTIN GENTRY, of Oglethorpe Co., Ga. - Born in Virginia, married Miss Loree in 1785, in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. He was born in 1760 and died in 1863, one hundred and three years old. He was a Revolutionary soldier.

Martin Gentry UNKNOWN appeared in the census of 1800 at Bullitt Co., Kentucky, USA; The 1800 tax list for KY includes 13 GENTRYs, at least 7 of which are probably sons of Nicholas III and Sarah (DICKENS) GENTRY (See "<<<" below), and two are likely nephews (sons of Martin #99983 and Mary (TIMBERLAKE) #102039 GENTRY, Nicholas III's brother):
Martin Gentry in the Kentucky, U.S., Tax Lists, 1799-1801
Martin Gentry UNKNOWN was listed as Blackston/Blaxton Gentry and Mary Polly Bunch's neighbor in a census on 6 August 1810 at Bullitt Co., Kentucky, USA;
Blackston Gentry in the 1810 United States Federal Census
There are 4 GENTRY households on this page (names are listed in alphabetical order), three of whom seem to be sons of Nicholas III #87075 and Elizabeth (STRINGER) GENTRY #87076:

On this page there is also a Blaxton [sic] GENTRY and a Henry GENTRY, probably sons of Nicholas III and Elizabeth (STRINGER) GENTRY.
