Ralph II de Langetot1

Ralph II de Langetot married Cecilia (?)1

; per Smith: Rosie Bevan published a brief stemma of the Langetot family in SGM
during 2003 (see archves):

1.Ralph de Langetot fl 1086
2.Ralph II de Langetot fl 1129
+ Cecilia
3.Ralph III de Langetot b.c.1120 fl 1166 d.s.p.
3.Emma de Langetot b.c.1125 fl 1185
+ NN
+ Geoffrey FitzWilliam
4. Muriel FitzWilliam b.c. 1155
+ Alan II de Dunstanville
4.Cecilia FitzWilliam b.c.1161
+ Alard FitzWilliam
2.Miles de Langetot fl 1121
3.Miles de Langetot
2.Matilda
+ Ranulf fitz Walter
2.Alice
+ Roger de Chesney

I am curious as the the identity of the Ranulf fitz Walter who married
Matilda de Langetot. He is mentioned in:

DP, p 354.
DD, pps 541, 757.
Rosie Bevan, post to SGM dated 27 Mar 2003, Emma de Langetot and DD
corrections?

I have not seen his parentage identified. I am curious to know if his
parentage has been identified.

DP, p 449.
DD, p 523-524.

Contain entries regarding Walter fitz Alberic de Cadamo and state that
he had a son Ralph (Ranulf) but does not give any more details about
him.

Since these are both important Norfolk familes, i suppose it is
possible that the two Ranulfs are one and the same. Of course, it
could also be a simple case of "the names the same". Has anyone seen
evidence to bear on this matter.
