Carline (?) was born in 1836 at North Carolina, USA.1 She married Benjamin Franklin Broyles, son of John Cyrus Broyles Sr. and Elizabeth Broyles, before 21 June 1880
; His 2nd wife? His wife in the 1870 census is named Narcissa and was born c 1842 in NC. His wife in the 1880 census is named Carline and was born c1836, also in NC. It is possible that these are two different women and that Narcissa died before June 1880. However, Narcissa's memorial on Find A Grave shows that she died in 1913 and was buried in the same cemetery as Benjamin. There is no "Carline" buried there. So I believe that it is more likely that "Narcissa" and "Carline" are the same person. G. A. Vaut.1,2
