; per van de Pas: "William Robertson was the son of Robert Robertson, Fiar of Struan, and Lady Isabel/Margaret Stewart. He married Margaret Menzies, daughter of Sir Robert Menzies, of That Ilk. They were the parents of a son and a daughter.
William Robertson had a Letter of Tack under the Privy Seal of King James IV for all the lands which pertained to his deceased grandfather Alexander Robertson of Struan on 28 March 1506.
He murdered John Cunison of Edradour at Moulin on 9 May 1510, for which crime he was executed at Tulliemet in 1516."1
