William was an Anglican, Gent. As a merchant he owned a gristmill and pond from 1759 to death. He resided in Georgetown, [Kent] Co. His wife and parents were Quakers. Her served in Lower House from [Kent] Co. from 1751-1753 and 1757-1758 and Sheriff from 1753-1756.3
