The Primary Chronicle names David son of Igor and Volodar son of Rostislav, recording that they captured Ratibor, agent of Vsevolod Grand Prince of Kiev, and established themselves as princes at Tmutorakan[616]. He was expelled in turn by Oleg Sviatoslavich who returned from Constantinople in 1083[617]. Prince of Peremyshl. He was confirmed as Prince of Peremyshl under the terms of the family accord reached at Liubech in 1097[618].
