"I Martha Pratt of the County of Warren and State of Missouri do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say -
"First it is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid fully.
"Secondly I direct that my body be decently buried near to my husband under the direction of my hereinafter named Executors and as to such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose of the same as follows.
"Third, I give and devise to my daughter Mary Howell wife of francis Howell five dollars to her and her heirs forever,
"Fourth I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucinda Williams wife of Alihu A Williams five dollars to her her heirs forever.
"Fifthly I give and bequeath to my remaining five children to wit Johnathan Pratt, Milton Pratt, Sandy Pratt, James W. Pratt and Martha Pendleton wife of Robert Pendleton the remaining balance of my estate real and personal to be equally divided amongst the said five heirs and their heirs and assigns forever after my decease, and
"Sixthly I constitute my beloved sons Johnathan Pratt, Milton Pratt and Sandy Pratt aforesaid my executors to this my last Will and Testament to carry this my said last will into affect or that either one or more of them can execute this my last will as it may best suit their convenience and hereby and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testatment.

; PHILIP DE SOMERVILLE, Knt., of Wichnor (in Tatenhill), Alrewas, Newbold, etc., Staffordshire, Knight of the Shire for Staffordshire, Sheriff of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, younger son, born about 1287 (aged 50 in 1337), died 1355. He married MARGARET DE PIPE, living 1325, daughter of Thomas de Pipe, Knt. They had two daughters, Joan (see below) and Elizabeth (wife of John de Stafford). In 1300 his brother Edmund de Somerville assigned Philip various lands which had been held in dower by their mother, Isabel. Philip was heir in 1319 to his older brother, Edmund de Somerville, clerk, by which he inherited the manors of Wichnor (in Tatenhill), Newbold, Tunstall, Staffordshire, etc. He was also heir in 1337 to his younger brother, Roger de Somerville, Knt., of Burton Agnes, Yorkshire. Philip may be regarded as the second founder of Balliol College at Oxford University, to which institution he added new scholars to the number of fellows as well as one chaplain.1 GAV-21.

"Funeral Services for Nester Massey McGinnis, 76, College Station city secretary, were held at 2:30 PM today from Callaway-Jones Funeral Home chapel.
"Mr. McGinnis, a resident of the community since 1915, died at his home in College Station late Tuesday.
"Funeral Services were conducted by the Sul Ross Lodge No. 1300 AF&AM. A solo was presented by David Yoldon, accompanied by Mrs. James Monk on the organ.
"Voted "Man of the Year in College Station" in 1950 by the residents of College Station, Mr. McGinnis served as city secretary since 1946. He graduated from Texas A&M College in 1908 and Cornell University in 1910. A native of Kaufman County, he was born Oct. 6, 1884.
"Mr. McGinnis served as an instructor at CIA, now Texas Woman's University from 1910 to 1915 when he came to Texas A&M College. He was first with the Horticulture departement and then with the Floriculture and Landscape Architecture Department. He retired in 1952.
"He was secretary of Sul Ross Masonic Lodge and a member of the A&M Presbyterian Church.
"His survivors include two brothers, Perry T. McGinis of Hillsboro and Charles T. McGinnis of Greggton; three sisters, Mrs. Kate Piepers [sic] of Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Annie Hart of Dallas and Mrs. E. G. Schuler of Keatchie, La; and several nieces and nephews.

"N, M. McGinnis Funeral is Held Today
"Funeral Services for Nester Massey McGinnis, 76, College Station city secretary, were held at 2:30 PM today from Callaway-Jones Funeral Home chapel.
"Mr. McGinnis, a resident of the community since 1915, died at his home in College Station late Tuesday.
"Funeral Services were conducted by the Sul Ross Lodge No. 1300 AF&AM. A solo was presented by David Yoldon, accompanied by Mrs. James Monk on the organ.
"Voted "Man of the Year in College Station" in 1950 by the residents of College Station, Mr. McGinnis served as city secretary since 1946. He graduated from Texas A&M College in 1908 and Cornell University in 1910. A native of Kaufman County, he was born Oct. 6, 1884.
"Mr. McGinnis served as an instructor at CIA, now Texas Woman's University from 1910 to 1915 when he came to Texas A&M College. He was first with the Horticulture departement and then with the Floriculture and Landscape Architecture Department. He retired in 1952.
"He was secretary of Sul Ross Masonic Lodge and a member of the A&M Presbyterian Church.
"His survivors include two brothers, Perry T. McGinis of Hillsboro and Charles T. McGinnis of Greggton; three sisters, Mrs. Kate Piepers [sic] of Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Annie Hart of Dallas and Mrs. E. G. Schuler of Keatchie, La; and several nieces and nephews.
"Burial was in College Station City Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Ran Boswell, Joe Woolkett, Ed Madeley, John Rogers, Frank Anderson, Leland Paine. Honorary pallbearers will be faculty members of teh A&M Landscape Architecture Department."1,9,6
