It appears unlikely that the information is correct. Benita is not named in her supposed mother´s donation dated 15 Jun 1232, which names all her other known children, alive or deceased at the time. It would be surprising if Benita was omitted, assuming that she was the daughter of Fernando Núñez de Lara. In addition, her supposed husband later married Teresa Fernández, supposed sister of Benita. It is surprising that a Papal dispensation would have been issued for such a marriage in the mid-13th century. In addition, no other example has been found of the name "Benita". ; Per Genealogics:
“Ponce was born about 1205, the son of Hugo IV, conde de Ampurias, and Maria de Vilademuls, señora de la Roca. He inherited the county of Ampurias on the death of his father in 1230.
“The economic crisis continued in the county that had already existed in his father's time. In an attempt to alleviate it, in 1231 Ponce sold land and freeholds to the abbot of Santa Maria de Roses, granted fiefs to the viscount of Rocaberti and undertook land exchanges, the most notable of which was the transfer to the count of Barcelona of the land of Roussillon in exchange for the town of Banyuls-sur-Mer in 1248.
“Together with Friar Pedro Nolasco, founder of the _Orden de la Bienaventurada Virgen Maria de la Merced,_ in 1238 he founded in Castellón de Ampurias the Convent of Mercy, and he was guardian of the abbey of Sant Quirze de Colera.
“Ponce participated with his father in the conquest of Mallorca in 1228-1230, and he went on alone to conquer Valencia. As counsellor to the king of Aragón he participated in the Cortes of Monzon in 1236, as well as those of the Catalans in 1251, where he paid tribute to the infant Pedro, the future Pedro III 'the Great', king of Aragón, king of Sicily, as heir to the crown of Aragón. In 1246 he was an emissary to Tunisia, and in 1264 he was an emissary to France, together with the bishop of Barcelona.
“With his first wife Teresa Fernández de Lara, daughter of Fernando Núñez de Lara, conde, señor de Castrogeriz, and his wife Mayor, he had two sons and two daughters, of whom his heir Hugo V and daughter Sibilla are recorded with progeny.
“Ponce later married Benedetta de Torres de Logudoro, daughter of Marianus II de Torres, prince of Logudoro, and Agnes de Lacon de Massa, heiress of Gotzeanu. However the marriage did not result in progeny. He may also have married a third time, but the details are not recorded.
“Ponce died in 1269. He was succeeded by his son Hugo V.”.4

; Per Med Lands:
"IVES [de Creil] . Guillaume of Jumièges records that Louis IV King of the West Franks, after the death of Richard’s father, marched on Rouen, was received by “Rodulphus et Bernardus atque Anslech totius Normannici ducatus tutores”, and captured Richard, who was taken to Laon but was freed by “Osmundus...consilio cum Yvone patre Willelmi de Belismo” and taken to “Silvanectis” where “Bernardus...comes” protected “nepotem suum Richardum”[10]. If correctly reported, this event must be dated to [942/43]. Orderic Vitalis reports the same event, recording that "Osmundus, pueri pædagogus, per Ivonem de Credolio, regis balistarium" freed the captive[11], but makes no connection with Guillaume de Bellême. Le Prévost suggests that “Credolio” in this passage was Creil near Senlis. Seigneur de Bellême , du Saosnais, du Passais et de Sées. "Ivo...in castro meo Bellismo" founded Notre-Dame de Bellême, for the souls of himself "conjugisque mee Godehildis, sive filiis meis vel genitoribus meis", by undated charter[12]. André de Fleury’s Vita Gauzlini records that “Ivo Belesmensis” donated “Magniacum” to Fleury, but that after his death “Willelmus eius filius” reclaimed the property[13]. This passage has been taken in secondary sources as indicating that Ives died after [1005], when Gaucelin became abbot of Fleury. However, it is not evident from the text that Ives made his donation during the abbacy of Gaucelin, rather it may have been the diversion of the property by his son which took place while Gaucelin was abbot. From a chronological point of view, it would be surprising if Ives was still alive in [1005], assuming that the reports of Guillaume de Jumiéges and Orderic Vitalis, quoted above, accurately report his participation in events in [942/43].
"[m firstly ---. This first marriage is suggested by the distinction between “soror” and “germana”, terms used by Ives’s son Avesgaud to describe his two sisters in the charter dated [1100] quoted below. Use of both terms in ther same document suggests that a distinction was intended. If that is correct, Avesgaud’s “soror” Hildeburge would have been born from a different marriage of his father, whereas his “germana” Godehildis would have been his full sister. Another possibility is that the two terms were used indiscriminately by the author of the document to add literary variety to his text and were not intended to indicate different meanings.]
"m [secondly] GODEHILDIS, daughter of ---. "Ivo" founded Notre-Dame de Bellême, for the souls of himself "conjugisque mee Godehildis, sive filiis meis vel genitoribus meis", by undated charter, confirmed after his death by "Willelmus et Godehildis mater mea"[14]. The Actus pontificum Cenomannis records the installation of [her son] "Avesgaudus, nepos ipsius" as Bishop of Le Mans after the death of "Segenfrido" (in [997])[15]. This suggests that Godehildis may have been the sister of Bishop Seinfrid."

Elisabeth (?)1

F, #64480, d. circa 1095
ReferenceGAV26
Last Edited27 Aug 2020
Elisabeth (?) married Robert I dit Brochard de Château-du-Loir seigneur de Château-du-Loir, son of Aimon/Hamelin/Hamon "Le Barbu" (?) Seigneur de Château-du-Loir and Hildeburge de Bellême.2,3,4

Elisabeth (?) died circa 1095.2,5
      ; Per Med Lands:
"ROBERT "Brochard", son of HAMON Seigneur d'Argentré & his wife Hildeburge de Bellême (-30 Jun, before [Sep 1067/23 Sep 1068]). He was granted the honour of Château-du-Loir by Geoffroy "le Barbu"[100]. The canons of Saint-Pierre-de-la-Cour relinquished vines to Abelin by charter dated [1051/62] naming "Herberto, Cinomannorum comite, cum fidelibus suis, Rotberto filio Hamelini"[101]. The absence of Robert from the list of those consenting to the donation of his son Gervais dated [Sep 1067/23 Sep 1068] (see below) implies that he had predeceased the donation. On the other hand, his son Gervais is named "Gervasium filium Roberti" in a charter dated 8 Mar 1071[102], which suggests that his father might then still have been alive. The necrology of Le Mans Cathedral records the death "II Kal Jul" of "Robertus filius Haimonis de Castrolidi"[103].
"m ELISABETH, daughter of --- (-[1095]). "Gervasius homo milicie seculari" donated the church of Saint-Guingalois "in pago Cenomannensi in Castello Ledi" to Marmoutier by charter dated [Sep 1067/23 Sep 1068], naming "pater meus Rotbertus et mater meus Elisabeth et uxor mea Aremburgis necnon et avus meus Amelinus et avia mea Hildeburgis et Gervasius Remorum archiepiscopus" with the consent of "matris mee omniumque fratrum meorum" and listing the monetary contributions of "matreque meu et fratres mei…mater mea Elisabet…Adam…Rotbertus…Gervasius clericus…"[104]."
