It would be surprising if Benita was omitted, assuming that she was the daughter of Fernando Núñez de Lara. In addition, her supposed husband later married Teresa Fernández, supposed sister of Benita. It is surprising that a Papal dispensation would have been issued for such a marriage in the mid-13th century. In addition, no other example has been found of the name "Benita". If a primary source does exist which names her, it is possible that the name was a nickname applied to Ponce´s known wife Teresa.
