     I, Andrew Vaught, being in a weak State of health but in my right mind I wish the following distribution of my property. After my death I want my taughter Tildy Courtnell to get my bed and bed stead and be clothes that is at Richard Cotrells for her trouble of waiting on her Mother during her sickness and whatever is right for her trouble with me, the allowance to be made to Richard Cottrell and family fo rkeeping me to be made by Sam Thompson and sam Tullock to be paid out of the proceeds of the sale of my property.

Jacob Vaught and Polly/Mary Colbourne appeared in the census of 29 October 1850 at Division 12, Cass Co., Georgia, USA; [Next door to his son, Allen VAUGHT, family 1417. It is possible that the older woman in this household (Mary, age 65) is either the 2nd wife of Jacob or that his wife Polly was also known as Mary. I think that it is more likely that Mary and Polly were the same person. The younger Mary (age 12) must be a granddaughter or niece. ]
