Andrew (III) Vaught died circa 1853 at Blount Co., Tennessee, USA.4
; The attached court cases may relate to this Andrew (III) and his brother John Vaught.
; Spurlin [1994:V:18-19]: "Andrew (III) stayed in Blount Co. and died there. The only reason that Andrew (III) may be a son of Andrew Jr. is because he married Susannah Broyles. Now that a pattern is clear for the children of andrew Jr., namely that they all went to AL before 1810, i8t is seen that andrew (III) does not fit the profile for the rest of the aboave tentative family. If he was a son of Andrew, Why did he not keep nay of Andrew's minor children when the rest of the family went to AL? David Vaught was older than Andrew, Jr. and Margaret Dobler was older than Betsy Dobler. Andrew (III) waw the oldest of the children and therefore could be a son of david and Margaret, the oldest. Germans did not have a habit of naming their children after themselves or their parents. They did name their children after the Godparents. Andrew, Jr. could be the Godparent of David's 1st child and will be placed throughout the rest of this book under David."8 Andrew (III) Vaught was also known as Andrew Vaut.7,6
