From Find a Grave:
Elizabeth Brent
; NB: I have chosen to temporarily assign Elizabeth the maiden name of WROTH, but this is purely speculative. While there are several family trees name her as Elizabeth WROTH, the dau. of daughter of Robert WROTH and his wife Jane HAUTE, none of the cite any sources for assigning them as her parents. Genealogics, a more reliable and well-documented source, shows Robert WROTH (of Durants, Enfield, Attorney for Duchy of Lancaster) and his wife Jane HAWTE with three children (Thomas, William and Dorothy), but no daughter named Elizabeth. Chilton [1905-1907] mentions the marriage of William BRENT to an Ellizabeth, without giving her maiden name.
However, one source, Colonial Families, gives the wife of William BRENT (1503-1595) as Elizabeth WORTH (p. 104): "Sm. WILLIAM BRENT, of Cossington; b. I503; d. 1595; m. Elizabeth WORTH and inherited, from his gd. father, Stoke and Admington. "
