;
From Early Colonial Settlers:
Henry Isham, Sr., came to Virginia about 1656, where he had a grant of land. As the records of Henrico County, where he lived at Bermuda Hundred, previous to 1677 have been destroyed, no copy of his will remains; but the records show that he died about 1675. He married Katherine, widow of Joseph Royall, of HenricoCo., (stated in the Isham pedigree to be a daughter of Banks, of Canterbury, England) and had issue:
(1) Henry, died 1679, unmarried. In his will dated 13, November 1678 Henry Isham, Jr. names mother, sisters and step brother.
(2) Mary, married William Randolph, of "Turkey Island," Henrico County, and
(3) Anne, married Frances Eppes, of Henrico Co.

Note:
Joseph Royal Sr. was dead by March 10, 1665. He and Katherine Banks Royall had at least three children, whose names are known; Joseph Royall Jr, Sarah Royall, who married John Wilkinson, and Katherine Royall who married Richard Perrin. (He also may have been the father of William, Richard And Henry as well as a daughter who married Richard Dennis And another daugher who married Machel Marshall. When Joseph died in about 1665, Katherine was a wealthy woman and married a second time to Henry Isham, Sr. of Bermueda Hundred Plantation in Virginia. According to custom, Joseph Royall's estate became the property of the new husband. Henry Isham added another wing onto the residence which was enhanced with tall pines and an English Flower Garden and was enclosed within a white picket fence. Katherine and Henry Isham were the leaders of Virginia Society at that time. They had three children together. Mary , who married William Randolph , Anne who married Francis Eppes and Henry Isham, Jr who died as a young unmarried man; he was lost at sea. In his will dated 11/13/1678, her son left Katherine, his mother one third of his property which was in both VA and England. Through this second marrriage, Katherine is the direct ancestor of Thomas Jefferson and John Marshall. Katherine's daughter Mary Isham was a much-courted belle in the scattered plantation society of the region. She was a charming young lady, known to play a musical instrument called a cittern. William Randolph married Mary Isham and they have been called the "Adam and Eve of Virginia".5

Katherine Royall Banks left a will on 10 October 1686 at Bermuda Hundred, Henrico Co., Virginia, USA;

     George Corbin of Hall End, co. Warwich was born in 1543 at Hall End, Warwickshire, England; Richardson says "of age in 1564."3,2 He married Mary Faunt, daughter of William Faunt Esq., of Foston, co. Leicester and Jane Vincent, circa 1590 at Halls End, Warwickshire, England.3,4,5,1,2

; Hall End House is still standing - it originally belonged to the Marmions of Tamworth. In the 15th century it was acquired by Wm Sturmy whose gr dau married Nicholas Corbyn of Kingwinford near Dudley about 25 miles frm Hall End. The house was sold by the last Earl Beauchamp about 40 yrs ago.6

George Corbin of Hall End, co. Warwich lived at Hall End, Warwickshire, England.3

; per Wood email: [quote] Happened to be in the Local History Library in Leicester this morning and found the following in the 'Visitation of Warwickshire, 1619" - a source not, as far as I can see, quoted by Richardson - but not contradicting him!
Pedigree of "Corbin":
Georgius Corbin de Halland in Com. Warr. fil et heres = (married) Maria filia Will'i Faunt de Foston in Com. Warr. (my note: a mistake, because it should have been "in Com. Leics." = in the County of Leicester) They had:
1. Henricus Corbin natus 25 Feb 1591 - obiit sine prole.
2. Thomas Corbin fil. 2 natus 24 May 1594.
3. Anna nata 19 Februrii 1593.
4. Jana.
[Source: "Visitation of Warwickshire in the Year 1619". Ed. John Fetherstone, F.S.A. Published by Harleian Scoiety, Vol XII. p. 312. London, 1877.]

George Corbin was, presumably, "fil et heres" (son and heir) of Thomas Corbin and his wife Anne Repington mentioned in RCA. This marriage is also recorded in the Visitation of Warwicks.,1619"
in a Pedigree of Repington. Anne was the dau of Wm. Repington of Amington in Warwickshire (d.10 Jan 1543) and his wife Julian, dau of William Stokes of Folesell (now Foleshill), Coventry.
The "Visitation of Warwickshire, 1619" (p.9) also gives the marriage of Anne,dau of Thomas Corbin of Hall End, Warwickshire to Anthony, 3rd son of Thomas Bracebridge (d.2 Elizabeth = 1560) and his second wife Joyce, dau of Thomas Wilson. I assume this Anne was a daughter of Thomas Corbin and Anne Repington and that she was therefore a sister to George who married Mary Faunt. [end quote]7
