Aymeric X (?) vicomte de Rochechouart1,2
M, #73766
Father | Aymeric IX (?) vicomte de Rochechouart b. c 1230, d. Apr 1284; per van de Pas: ""I have him only with his name and married to Maud de Ferrers in my website. I am trying to add more to him: ES III/4 Tafel 777 Here Aimery IX makes his will 25 June 1283 and died about December 1288 and is buried at Terzay. His son Aimery X makes his will in 1286 and is buried 29 September 1288. Dying so close before his father? The parents of Aimery X married "before 1251". Does this imply Aimery X was born about 1251? If he died in 1269, as Douglas Richardson maintains, then he died aged about 18 leaving two children. As we have Joan de Vivonne, wife of Aimery X, was born in 1251, this is quite possible for those days.3 |

"My research" what is that based on? That Joan de Vivonne was married to her
step-brother "None of this information was known back in 2003".
ES III/4 Tafel 777, appeared in 1989. Here is shown Aymeric X de
Rochechouart before 13May 1264 married 'Jeanne' de Vivonne, his stepsister.
However, in contradiction to what Richardson gives, Aymeric made his will in
1288 and was buried 29 September 1288 in Saint-Junien.
I had not spotted this until now, but it has been there waiting since 1989
and was known by 2003.
