Mann Page I received a sizable inheritance from both parents. He began Rosewald in 1725, a house of 35 rooms with elaborate furnishings and 232 foot frontage.: (Burned-24 Mar 1916) The project almost bankrupted him. He was not able to complete his mansion before his youthful death at 39 years. He was deeply in debt. His home was built on the right bank of Carter's Creek in Gloucester Co. overlooking the York River near Timberneck. He was the second largest land owner in Virginia at this time. His home was built of red brick, was four stories tall with turrets on the roof containing two windows on each of the four sides used as lookout towers.(Old Virginia Houses and the Randolphs of Va.) Mann Page was also known as Mann Page Jr.5
In Alice Luckin's will dated 12 November 1696 at Virginia, USA, Mann Page was named as an heir;
Per Davis [1998:56]: "Alice Page made her will on NOvember 12, 1696 and died on June 22, 1698. She left her estate to her son, Matthew Page and his children: Mann, Alice, and Mary Page."6

per "Mann1.ged" GEDCOM from CompuServe:
In Alice Luckin's will dated 12 November 1696 at Virginia, USA, Mann Page was named as an heir;
Per Davis [1998:56]: "Alice Page made her will on NOvember 12, 1696 and died on June 22, 1698. She left her estate to her son, Matthew Page and his children: Mann, Alice, and Mary Page."6
