"To all people to whom these presents may come (be it known) that I Gayen Miller of ye Township of Kennett in ye County of Chester Province of Pennsylvania (Yeoman) having under my consider ye uncertainty of time here on Earth & ye ??? course unto which all mankind is subject which is mortality and for ??? trouble have made this my Las Will & Testament which is in manner & form as Followeth:
"Item - I do Request my spirit unto ye Lord my Creator that gave it and to his son Jesus Christ my Redeemer and do order that my body be decently buryed, and also that my just debts & funeral expenses be first paid & discharged by my Executors herein after mentioned.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son William five pounds lawfull money of ye Province affords together with my riding Horse saddle and bridle.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my four sons (viz) Robert, Patrick, Samuel and Benjamin Five pounds a piece of lawfull money as afforsd.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my two daughters, Sarah, ye wife of Joshua Johnson & Elizabeth ye wife of Joseph Dickinson five pounds apiece as affords.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son Jameses four children (viz) Sarah, Deborah, James & Jesse ten shillings apiece.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary's three children (viz) Saml, James & Mary ten shillings apiece
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin affords part of a tract of land which I purchased of James Logan lying by Peckque Creek in Lancaster County which he is now in possession of to him and his heirs lawfully begotten with his body whether male or female forever.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son John ye remainder of that tract of land before mentioned containing by estimate two hundred acres (being more or less) to him & his heirs lawfully begotten with his body whether male or female forever; with five shillings lawfull money of Pennsylvania.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son Joseph's widow Jane Miller and her two children (viz) Samuel & Rebekkah, six pounds current money as affords to be divided equally among them share & share alike.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son George one half of my Plantation whereon I now dwell together with one half of my dwelling house out houses ploughs cash(?) cart geers handycraft tools belonging to ye said plantation and two working horses the clock & ??? he is to have without valuation or praisment at my decease. "To all people to whom these presents may come (be it known) that I Gayen Miller of ye Township of Kennett in ye County of Chester Province of Pennsylvania (Yeoman) having under my consider ye uncertainty of time here on Earth & ye ??? course unto which all mankind is subject which is mortality and for ??? trouble have made this my Las Will & Testament which is in manner & form as Followeth:
"Item - I do Request my spirit unto ye Lord my Creator that gave it and to his son Jesus Christ my Redeemer and do order that my body be decently buryed, and also that my just debts & funeral expenses be first paid & discharged by my Executors herein after mentioned.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son William five pounds lawfull money of ye Province affords together with my riding Horse saddle and bridle.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my four sons (viz) Robert, Patrick, Samuel and Benjamin Five pounds a piece of lawfull money as afforsd.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my two daughters, Sarah, ye wife of Joshua Johnson & Elizabeth ye wife of Joseph Dickinson five pounds apiece as affords.

"I Margret Miller of Kenett in ye County of Chester & province of Penssilvania, relict of Gayen Miller deceased being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind & memory Thanks be given unto God; Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament: (vis)
"Principally & first of all I give and recomend my soul into y: hands of almighty God h" gave it and for my body I recomend it to ye Earth to be buried in a Christian like & decent manner, at ye discretion of my Executors, Nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. "I Margret Miller of Kenett in ye County of Chester & province of Penssilvania, relict of Gayen Miller deceased being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind & memory Thanks be given unto God; Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament: (vis)
"Principally & first of all I give and recomend my soul into y: hands of almighty God h" gave it and for my body I recomend it to ye Earth to be buried in a Christian like & decent manner, at ye discretion of my Executors, Nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in the life, I give devise and dispose of ye same in the following manner and form:

"To all people to whom these presents may come (be it known) that I Gayen Miller of ye Township of Kennett in ye County of Chester Province of Pennsylvania (Yeoman) having under my consider ye uncertainty of time here on Earth & ye ??? course unto which all mankind is subject which is mortality and for ??? trouble have made this my Las Will & Testament which is in manner & form as Followeth:
"Item - I do Request my spirit unto ye Lord my Creator that gave it and to his son Jesus Christ my Redeemer and do order that my body be decently buryed, and also that my just debts & funeral expenses be first paid & discharged by my Executors herein after mentioned.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son William five pounds lawfull money of ye Province affords together with my riding Horse saddle and bridle.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my four sons (viz) Robert, Patrick, Samuel and Benjamin Five pounds a piece of lawfull money as afforsd.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my two daughters, Sarah, ye wife of Joshua Johnson & Elizabeth ye wife of Joseph Dickinson five pounds apiece as affords.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son Jameses four children (viz) Sarah, Deborah, James & Jesse ten shillings apiece.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary's three children (viz) Saml, James & Mary ten shillings apiece

"Item - I give and bequeath to my son Joseph's widow Jane Miller and her two children (viz) Samuel & Rebekkah, six pounds current money as affords to be divided equally among them share & share alike.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my son George one half of my Plantation whereon I now dwell together with one half of my dwelling house out houses ploughs cash(?) cart geers handycraft tools belonging to ye said plantation and two working horses the clock & ??? he is to have without valuation or praisment at my decease. An my farther will is that my son George affords shall at ye death of my wife have ye other of my Plantation affords together with ye other half of ye above mentioned particulars to him and his heirs lawfully begotten with his body forever.
"Item - I give and bequeath to my Dear & Loving wife Margret all my lands houses goods chattels ready money plate bills bonds notes & debts of any and what kindsoever due and owing whereof I now am or at ye time of my death may be possessed of several lands legacys & things herein before mentioned & appointed to my Children & Grandchildren only excepted.

"I Margret Miller of Kenett in ye County of Chester & province of Penssilvania, relict of Gayen Miller deceased being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind & memory Thanks be given unto God; Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament: (vis)
"Principally & first of all I give and recomend my soul into y: hands of almighty God h" gave it and for my body I recomend it to ye Earth to be buried in a Christian like & decent manner, at ye discretion of my Executors, Nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in the life, I give devise and dispose of ye same in the following manner and form:

"The Eleventh Day of January in ye year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred forty and three/four
"I Margret Miller of Kenett in ye County of Chester & province of Penssilvania, relict of Gayen Miller deceased being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind & memory Thanks be given unto God; Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament: (vis)
"Principally & first of all I give and recomend my soul into y: hands of almighty God h" gave it and for my body I recomend it to ye Earth to be buried in a Christian like & decent manner, at ye discretion of my Executors, Nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in the life, I give devise and dispose of ye same in the following manner and form:
"Imprimis, I give and bequeath to my well beloved son George Mill whom I likeways constitute make and ordain my only & sole Executor of ye my last will and Testament ??? singular my said message & tonements together with all my personal esteat or effects (viz) my bills, bonds, noats, book debts, and ready money, and all other good and chattels belonging to me. One chest of drawers, one bed and bed cloaths & twenty pounds of money, but of ye whole expected for he uses of he after mentioned viz
"I bequeath to my grandaughter Margret Dickenson he on chest of drawers and to my grandaughter Margret Miller daughter of William Miller I will and bequeath ye one bed and bed cloths and I give to my sons Patrick Miller, Benjamin Miller, John Miller & Joseph Dickenson to each of ye five pounds pensilvania currancy.
"And I do hereby uterly disavow revoak & dissanull all & every other forms, testament, wills and legacies, requists & Executors by me in any ways before he time named Willed and bequeathed, ratifying & confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
"In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal ye ay and year above written.
"Signed sealed published pronounced & declared by the said Margret Miller as her last Will & Testament in ye presence of us ye subscribers: Mary Jackson, Joseph M Dowell."6,7

John II Miller was born in 1633 at Parish of Kerbywilk, Breckenbrough, Yorkshire, England.1,2 He married Ann Clibborn, daughter of William Clibborn and Brigetta Warde, in 1657 at Ireland

John Miller,1 son of John Miller, bom at " Breckenbrough, in ye Parish of Kerbyw-ilk in Yorkshire," in 1633, went over intoIreland as a planter, in 1657, and married Ann, daughter of William Clibborn, who was bom in 1630, at Cowley, in the County of Durham, England. Their children were : WilMam, b. 1659, at Moate, Margaret, b. 1662, Shurrch ? d. 1668; John, b. 1665, at Moate ; Thomas, b. 1667, at Ballynalinch ; Abraham, b. 1670, at Glin, County West Meath ; and Isaac, b. 1672, at Glin, County West Meath. (Potts, Our Fam[ily Ancestors, 245-6.)
One John Miller, possibly a son of the above John Miller, married Mar)% sister of Andrew Ignew and as early as 1693 was living within the limits of Grange Meeting near Charlemont, County Armagh, Ireland. He and his family arrived in Chester County, Pa., in 1709, and, as we have seen on page 13;, settled on a large tract of land in New Garden Township. He was a prominent member of New Garden Meeting and was elected to the Provincial Assembly in 17 14, but died that same year.
Mary Miller, his widow, died in 1730. In her will, dated 5 Mo. 12, 1730, probated August 10, 1730, she mentions her "Kinsman John Too " and leaves ^30 to pay y^ passage of or Charges of three of my brother Andrew Ignews [2] Children in Coming to this Country, provided they Come in ye Space of two years after my decease.
