Baudouin I (?) Lord of Ramla1

Baudouin I (?) Lord of Ramla married Stéphanie de Naplouse.2,3,1
Baudouin I (?) Lord of Ramla was born circa 1075.1 He and Stéphanie de Naplouse were divorced before 1120; She remaried in 1120.3,4,1
Baudouin I (?) Lord of Ramla died in 1138; Med Lands says d. Feb/Dec 1138.2,1

; Per Genealogics:
“Baudouin was the castellan and lord of Ramla in the kingdom of Jerusalem from 1106 to his death. In 1120 he participated in the Council of Nablus. In 1126 the castellany, which controlled the surrounding countryside, was given in fief to the count of Jaffa. In 1134 Jaffa was confiscated by the king of Jerusalem, Foulques V 'the Young', comte d'Anjou et Maine, after the rebellion of Hugue, count of Jaffa, and Ramla was given to Baudouin, to hold from the count of Jaffa.
“Baudouin has been identified with Baudouin of Hestrut, a knight who appears in the Latin East for the first time between 1102 and 1105. The sudden disappearance of Baudouin after this date could be attributed to his receiving the castellany of Ramla and adopting it as his surname.
“By his wife Stéphanie, heiress of Nablus, Baudouin had two children, Renier and Helvis. Helvis would have progeny, marrying Balian Ibelin, lord of Ibelin, constable of Jaffa, and then Manassès d'Hiérges, constable of Jerusalem.
“Baudouin died about 1138.”.1
; Per Med Lands:
"BAUDOUIN [I] (-[Feb/Dec] 1138). Lord of Rama [Rames]. Baudouin I King of Jerusalem confirmed donations to the church of St Marie, Josaphat by charter dated to [1115], including a donation by "…Balduinus…in territorio Ramensi…"[755]. William of Tyre records "Balduinus de Rames" among those present at the Council of Nablus in 1120 at which Gormundus Patriarch of Jerusalem delivered a sermon[756]. "…Balduinus Ramensis dominus…" subscribed the charter dated 5 Feb 1138 under which "Fulcho…rex Ierusalem Latinorum tercius" granted privileges to the church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem[757].
"m (divorced) as her first husband, STEPHANIE, sister of PAYEN Lord of Nablus, daughter of --- (-after 3 Jul 1155). The Lignages d'Outremer state that "madame Estefenie esteit flamengue" and that "son baron aveit nom Gui le Franceis"[758]. According to the Lignages, she married "mesire Baudoyn" after the death of Guy[759]. However, the date of the marriage of their daughter Helvis suggests that Baudouin was Stephanie's first husband. If this is correct, the couple must have been divorced as Baudouin's death is recorded after that of Guy de Milly. Her relationship with the Ibelin family, and her first marriage, is suggested by the charter dated 14 Jan 1155 which names "Philippi…Neapolitani, Guidonis Francigene, Henrici Bubali" as "avunculorum" of "Hugo de Hybelino et…fratris sui Balduini…"[760]. She married secondly ([1120]) Guy de Milly Lord of Nablus. [Her son] “Reinerius de Ramis”, fearing death, donated property “in territorio casali...Galteri de Bulion” to “infirmis Sancti Lazari secus muros Jerusalem”, for the souls of “patris sui ac matris, fratrum suorum...”, in the presence of “domina Stephania mater eius...”, by charter dated 1148[761]. “Amalricus...comes Ascalonitanus” confirmed the donation of “casal Zaythar” to the lepers of St Lazarus at Jerusalem made by “Philippus Neapolitanus”, with the consent of “Ysabel uxore sua et domina Stephania matre sua, et Rainerio filio suo, Helena etiam et Stephania filiabus suis...et Guidone Francigena et Henrico Bubalo fratribus suis”, by charter dated 3 Jul 1155[762]."
