Oda/Ida (?) married Siegfried (?) Graf von Burghausen
; NB: Genealogy.EU (Lorraine, p. 11) says: "Oda=Ida; m.Gf Siegfried von Burghausen (+1104)," and assigns this Oda/Ida as the dau. of of Thierry II of Lorrain by his 2nd wife, Gertrude of Flanders.
Med Lands shows "SIEGHARD [X] von Tengling...Graf von Tengling. Graf von Schala. Graf von Burghausen...murdered Regensburg 5 Feb 1104" who m. "IDA von Süpplingenburg, daughter of GEBHARD von Süpplingenburg Graf im Harzgau & his wife Hedwig von Formbach."
Both Siedgfrieds were "von Burghausen" and both d. in 1014. Both of them married a wife called "Ida". So it is reasonable to assume that one of these two sources has confused the wife's origins. GA Vaut.2,3,4

; Per Genealogics:
“Joffroi II was born about 1210, the eldest son of Gobert VI, sire d'Apremont et de Dun, and Julienne de Rozoy, dame de Chaumont. In 1238 he inherited the rule over Aspremont-la-Forêt, after his father joined the Abbey of Villiers-en-Brabant as a monk.
“At the instigation of his uncle Jean I d'Aspremont, bishop of Metz, before 4 April 1235 he married Laurette, Gräfin von Saarbrücken, the eldest daughter of Simon III, Graf von Saarbrücken, and Laurette de Lorraine. In his wife's name Joffroi claimed the whole legacy of his father-in-law, but came into conflict with her three sisters, who demanded equal shares. Joffroi and his uncle Jean, who was the feudal lord of Saarbrücken as bishop of Metz, summoned Henri II, comte de Bar, as adjudicator. His verdict on 4 April 1235 was in Joffroi's favour, while the claims of his sisters-in-law were largely rejected. Joffroi and Laurette had a daughter possibly called Elisabeth who would have progeny, marrying Emich IV, Graf von Leiningen in Landeck.
“In 1248 Joffroi decided to join the Sixth Crusade under the French King Louis IX. Accordingly he made a legacy to the priory of Notre-Dame in Aspremont. He travelled with his brother Gobert VII and the chronicler Jean de Joinville, a first cousin of his grandfather, from Marseilles to Cyprus, where they joined the royal entourage. Joffroi was given the name Jehan in his cousin's chronicle _(Vie de Saint Louis)._ He took part in the capture of Damietta in June 1249, but died in January 1250 in the crusader camp outside al-Mansura in Egypt.
“In 1252 Joffoi's widow Laurette married Dietrich Luf (I) von Kleve, but the marriage did not result in progeny.”.2

"La Rochefoucauld in the present-day is a commune situated in the French département of Charente, arrondissement Angoulême, canton Val de Tardoire, about 20 kilometres north-west of Angoulême on the Tardoire river. The present castle of La Rochefoucauld was built in the early 16th century. The family can be traced with certainty to the early 11th century, as shown by Père Anselme, although his reconstruction is inconsistent with the primary sources quoted below. In particular, he ignores the inheritance of the seigneurie by a second Rochefoucauld dynasty, descended from the Montbrun family, following the marriage of the heiress of the first Rochefoucaud family."4

; Per Genealogics:
“In the 9th century, to protect the inhabitants of the area around Montbron in Charente-Limousin against invasion by the Normans, a fort was built on 'La Roche' ('the Rock') which dominates the valley of the Tardoire, very broad at that point. This fort became the seat of a barony, which around 950 belonged to Aymar de Lusignan, son of Hugues I de Lusignan.
“Their descendant, Foucaud I, lord of La Roche, the true founder of the House of La Rochefoucauld, was an ambitious baron. He first sought to increase his wealth at the expense of his neighbours. However, as they were then more powerful than him, he did not succeed. He next turned against the clergy, who were weaker. In 1019 he and his children contributed to the gift by Guillaume, bishop of Angouleme, to the abbey of Uzerche, of the church of Saint-Bibien at Nieul. He had the castle (of La Rochefoucauld) built about 1026, at the site of the ancient small fortress. In 1037 he made gift of the land of Rabaut to the abbey of Saint-Jean d'Angely. He had married Gersende, whose family name is not recorded. The date of his death is not known.”.1

"Fulcaldus de la Rocha et Guido et Ademarus filii ipsius Fulcodii" subscribed the charter dated 10 Sep 1019 under which Guillaume Bishop of Angoulême confirmed the same donation[1458]. Thietmar refers to "Konrad" as son-in-law of Hermann Duke of Swabia, recording that they attacked Strasbourg together after the election of Heinrich II King of Germany in 1002[138]. Wipo names "Mahthilda de filia Chuonradi regis Burgundiæ" as mother of "iunioris Chuononis"[139]. The Alberti Milioli Notarii Regini Liber de Temporibus names "comitissam Beatricam…de Gallia…filia comitis Frederic, mater…domina Matilda", but does not give the origin of Mathilde[140]. The Annalista Saxo names "Machtildis" as sister of Gisela, wife of Emperor Konrad II, and also names her third husband[141]. The primary source which records her second marriage has not so far been identified. However, the Chronicon Sancti Michælis, monasterii in pago Virdunensi names "duabus puellulis Sophia et Beatrice" as daughters of the son of "duce Theodorico", specifying that the empress was their amita and that she adopted them after their father died[142]. She attended the Easter celebrations at Ingelheim in 1030[143]. The Liber Anniversariorum of Einsiedeln records the death in Jul of "Mechthild soror imperatricis Gislæ"[144]. "Chuonradus…Romanorum imperator augustus" donated property to the church of Worms naming "filii nostri Heinrici Regis, filie quoque nostre Beatricis" for the souls of "parentum nostrorum defunctorum atavi nostri ducis Chuonradi, avie nostre Iudithe, patris nostri Heinrici, patrui nostri ducis Chuonradi eiusque coniugis Mathildis, sororis etiam nostre Iudithe", all buried at Worms Cathedral, by charter dated 30 Jan 1034[145].

"ESIKO von Ballenstedt (-[1059/60]). The primary source which confirms his parentage has not yet been identified. Esiko's relationship, through his mother, with the Markgrafen der Ostmark is deduced from the Annalista Saxo which names "Sigefridus, avunculus Esici comitis de Ballenstide, filius Odonis incliti marchionis"[1064]. "Heinricus…rex" donated property "quod comes Hesicho nostre consanguinitati…hereditatis Fulkmeresroth in comitatu eiusdem comitis" to the church of Naumburg by charter dated 27 Jun 1043[1065]. The precise relationship between Esiko and Heinrich III King of Germany has not been identified. Graf im Schwabengau und im Gau Serimunt. He founded the abbey of Ballenstedt. "…Hesicus comes…" witnessed the charter dated 15 Apr 1059 under which Adalbert Archbishop of Hamburg confirmed a donation to Kloster auf dem Sülberge[1066].
"m (after 1026) as her third husband, MATHILDE of Swabia, widow firstly of KONRAD Duke of Carinthia [Salier] and secondly of FREDERIC [II] Duke of Upper Lotharingia, daughter of HERMANN II Duke of Swabia & his wife Gerberga of Upper Burgundy ([988]-20 Jul [1031/32]), bur Worms Cathedral). Thietmar refers to "Konrad" as son-in-law of Hermann Duke of Swabia, recording that they attacked Strasbourg together after the election of Heinrich II King of Germany in 1002[1067]. Wipo names "Mahthilda de filia Chuonradi regis Burgundiæ" as mother of "iunioris Chuononis"[1068]. The Alberti Milioli Notarii Regini Liber de Temporibus names "comitissam Beatricam…de Gallia…filia comitis Frederic, mater…domina Matilda", but does not give the origin of Mathilde[1069]. The Annalista Saxo names "Machtildis" as sister of Gisela, wife of Emperor Konrad II, and also names her third husband[1070]. The primary source which records her second marriage has not so far been identified. However, the Chronicon Sancti Michælis, monasterii in pago Virdunensi names "duabus puellulis Sophia et Beatrice" as daughters of the son of "duce Theodorico", specifying that the empress was their amita and that she adopted them after their father died[1071]. She attended the Easter celebrations at Ingelheim in 1030[1072]. The Liber Anniversariorum of Einsiedeln records the death in Jul of "Mechthild soror imperatricis Gislæ"[1073]. "Chuonradus…Romanorum imperator augustus" donated property to the church of Worms naming "filii nostri Heinrici Regis, filie quoque nostre Beatricis" for the souls of "parentum nostrorum defunctorum atavi nostri ducis Chuonradi, avie nostre Iudithe, patris nostri Heinrici, patrui nostri ducis Chuonradi eiusque coniugis Mathildis, sororis etiam nostre Iudithe", all buried at Worms Cathedral, by charter dated 30 Jan 1034[1074]."

; Per Genealogics:
"Hermann II was born about 980, the eldest son of Hermann I, Graf von Werl, and Gerberge de Bourgogne. He was count of Werl, count of Lochtrop, Leri and Dreigau (upper Sauerland) and count of the diocese of Osnabrück. He was also steward of the abbeys and convents of Liesborn, Meschede and Oedingen.
"He was married twice. The identity of his first wife is unknown. The second, whom he married in 1007, was Godila (von Rothenburg), the widow of Lothar III, Graf im Derlingau, Markgraf von Nordmark. It is not clear which of his children were from his first marriage and which from the second. His children included Heinrich I, Konrad I, Adalbert, Bernhard II, possibly Hermann I, bishop of Münster, Rudolf and Mathilde.
"Hermann first appears in 997 in a charter of Emperor Otto III who gave the estate of Stockhausen, that had been possessed by a deceased imperial outlaw, to the Werl convent of Meschede at the request of Hermann's mother. In 1000 Hermann and his mother Gerberge founded the convent of Oedingen in the district of Lochtrop. Hermann was its steward.
"After the death of Otto III in 1002, the house of Werl gave its support, at the next election for emperor, not to their cousin, the future Emperor Heinrich II, son of Heinrich 'der Zanker', but to the second husband of Gerberge, Hermann II, Herzog von Schwaben. Hermann von Werl later stood in clear opposition to the emperor. Probably for this reason the house of Werl was rarely mentioned at this time in imperial documents. The conflicts of Hermann and his family members with various bishops were also grounded in the bishops' support for the emperor.
"Politically Hermann was an opponent of Bishop Dietrich of Münster. In 1016/17 this came to a dispute over the convent Liesborn. The convent had passed from the Ekbertiner (the family founded by Ekbert, dux of Saxony under Charlemagne) to the counts of Werl, but Emperor Heinrich II placed it under the bishop of Münster. The feud was stopped by imperial command. However a year later Heinrich I, a son of Hermann, feuded with Heribert, archbishop of Cologne, because he had arrested Heinrich's mother on grounds that were not recorded. In the autumn of that year, the house of Werl fought together with Graf Thietmar von Sachsen, grandson of Hermann Billung, with whom they may have been related, against Bishop Meinwerk of Paderborn over the abbey of Helmarshausen. In the course of the feud Hermann was captured by Udo, Graf von Katlenburg. The emperor considered the actions of the allies to constitute a revolt, and celebrated its defeat.
"At Christmas that year the emperor pardoned the plotters. In 1019/20 the unrest led to a general revolt in Westphalia and Saxony against the emperor under Bernhard II, Herzog von Sachsen. The last years of Heinrich led to a degree of reconciliation, as Hermann is recorded in 1024 as a senior witness in imperial charters. There is some evidence that Hermann accompanied the emperor on his final journey to the palatinate of Grona.
"After the death of Emperor Heinrich II, Hermann played an important role in clarifying the succession. Because of his links with the candidates he appeared as the ideal intermediary. Konrad II was husband of Hermann's half-sister Gisela von Schwaben. The other candidate Konrad I, Herzog von Kärnten, was married to Hermann's half-sister Mathilde.
"Immediately after the death of the emperor an assembly of the Saxon nobility was held at Werla on the Oker, to prepare for an election for the next emperor, under the leadership of Bernhard II, Herzog von Sachsen. Hermann took part in the assembly, which also led to his reconciliation with Bishop Meinwerk. Hermann also attended the assembly of princes at the grave of the holy Ida von Hersfeld, around the time of the election on 4 September 10124 in Kampa. The royal tour of the new emperor Konrad II led him to Westphalia, where a court was held in Dortmund at the end of 1024. Hermann was also present, recorded as a witness among other nobles in an imperial charter. Later he was less close to the emperor, because at least part of the house of Werl supported Konrad I, Herzog von Kärnten, in the years 1026-1028 in his dispute with the emperor.
"Hermann was a steward of the abbey of Werden. After Abbot Hettharnich complained to the emperor of interference by Hermann, Hermann was granted the courts in Arnsberg and other possessions, and the house of Werl gave up other claims against the abbey. This allowed the land holdings of the house, somewhat reduced through estate divisions, to be consolidated again to a reasonable extent.
     "Hermann died in 1025."2

Rudolf von Werl Graf von Werl died after 1040.1
      ; Per Genealogics:
“Rudolf was born between 982 and 986, the younger son of Hermann I, Graf von Werl, and Gerberge de Bourgogne. He was the brother of Hermann II, Bernhard and Ida or Hitda, and the half-brother of the Gisela von Schwaben, married to Emperor Konrad II, and of Mathilde von Schwaben, married to Konrad I, Herzog von Kärnten. He was also cousin of Emperor Heinrich II 'der Heilige', Gisela's son by her second husband Heinrich II 'der Zanker', Herzog von Bayern, and he was nephew of Rudolf III, king of Burgundy.
“Rudolf had a son Hermann III, who married Richenza von Schwaben about 1045 and had a daughter Oda with her. Another child may have been Rudolf/Rotho, bishop of Paderborn.
“Little is known about Rudolf, but he was named after his uncle. His name was later adopted by the counts of Stade, following the marriage of his granddaughter Oda to Lothar-Udo III, Graf von Stade, Markgraf der Nordmark; their son was Rudolf I.
“Rudolf was ruler of a countship in the kingdom in the Groningerland in Frisian Emsland. In this capacity he was still mentioned in sources about 1040. He may have had stewardship rights over the abbey of Werden in the Emsland. He seems to have supported the opposition of his brother Hermann against Emperor Heinrich II in 1019/19, and the opposition of his half-sister Mathilde against her brother-in-law Konrad II in 1025-1027.
“The Book of the Dead from Essen lists Rudolf on 12 July as 'Rudolphus comes'. It is assumed that he died on that day in about 1044.”.2
