The Genealogiæ Scriptoris Fusniacensis specifies that one daughter (unnamed, mentioned second) of "Andreas comes de Rameruth" married "Iohannes vicecomes de Maruel" by whom she had "Manassem de Plaierris et sororem eius, quam duxit Helyas de Monte-Mirail, de qua nati sunt Galcherus et Andreas et Hugo Prorulliensis abbas; defuncto vero Helia, nupsit domino de Monte-regali, cui peperit liberos"[1132]. The date of her second marriage is set by the charter dated 1145 under which [her husband] "Ansericus de Monteregio" donated property to Pontigny, with the support of “--- uxor eiusdem Anserici”[1133].      "ANSERIC [I] de Montréal ([1119/23]-25 or 26 Jan 1174). The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names (in order) "Anserici, Guilelmi, Andree et Milonis" as brothers of "Guido de Dampetra" Bishop of Chalon[65], the first named being the older uterine brother of the last three. Anséric [I] may have been a minor until the early 1140s, probably born at the end of his father’s life: the first source in which he is named as seigneur de Montréal is dated 1145, earlier charters naming as seigneur Guy, who is assumed to have been Anséric’s stepfather who would have held the seigneurie in his stepson’s place until he reached the age of majority. "Eluidis Montis regali domina" donated property to Jully-les-Nonnains, with the consent of "Anserici filii sui", by charter dated 1129[66]. "Guido de Dampetra…et uxor eius…Elvidis et filii Anserici et Guillelmus" approved the donation by "Lethericus de Baudimonto" to the Templars at Provins, by charter dated 1133[67]. Seigneur de Montréal. Seigneur de Montmirail, de iure uxoris. "Ansericus de Monteregio" donated property which stretched from "Nentri ad Trementiacum usque ad semitam...de Massengi ad Chableiam ex parte Villeri" to Pontigny, with the support of “--- uxor eiusdem Anserici”, by charter dated 1145, witnessed by “Andreas de Baldament, Bernardus capellanus de Monteregio, Guido de Dompetræ et Guido filius eius...Garnerius de Dompetræ...”[68]. A charter dated 1145 records an agreement between Pontigny abbey and Auxerre Saint-Germain concerning property donated by “Ansericus de Monteregali”[69]. "Ansericus de Monteregali" confirmed the donation of pasturage and other rights to Reigny abbey, made by “pater eius Hugo et mater eius Aluisa”, before leaving for Jerusalem with Louis VII King of France by charter dated 1147[70]. Sénéchal de Bourgogne. “...Anserico senescalco...” witnessed the charter dated 1150 under which Eudes II Duke of Burgundy donated property held by “domnus Regnerius de Rupe senescaldus meus” to the abbey of Puy-d’Orbe[71]. “Ansericus Montisregii dominus” recorded an agreement between the monks of Pontigny and “dominum Manasserium socerum meum” relating to “prato...supra Marsegni” which the latter had claimed, by charter dated to [1150][72]. A charter dated 1153 records the presence of "...Ansericus dominus Montisregalis et uxor eius Adelaidis..." at the donation of land near “boscum domini Montisregalis” to Reigny abbey made by “Ivo de Avalone...”[73]. "Ansericus de Monteregali…Ansericus filius eius…Johannes minor frater eiusdem et eorum mater Aalidis, Heluis filia eius" attested the donation to Reigny by "Ivo de Avalone" by charter dated 1164[74]. “Ansericus dominus Montisregalis” recorded an agreement with Reigny abbey, with the consent of “Aalaydis uxor mea et Ansericus et Johannes filii mei et Sibilla predicti Anserici filii mei uxor”, by charter dated 1170[75]. The necrology of Notre-Dame de Montréal records the death "26 Jan" of "Ansericus dominus Montis Regalis, qui quatuor familias apud Sivriacum dedit" [which links with the 1170 charter quoted above][77]. The necrology of Molesme records the death "VIII Kal Feb" of "Ansericus de Monteregali qui edificavit domum Sanctimonialum"[78].

Defossez suggests that Gauthier de Chimay (died “before 1082”) was the same person as Gauthier d’Ath, that his son Alard (“1088”, died “before 1090”, born to an unidentified first wife) was the father of the siblings Alard [II] and Béatrix who are named below (by his wife “Havilde”), and that Béatrix d’Ath (wife of Arnoul de Hainaut, see the Ath chapter in the present document) was Gauthier’s daughter by his “second” wife Alix de Ramerupt[1654]. The primary sources which confirm the dates quoted by Defossez, and the name of Alard’s wife, have not been identified. "

Hugo Abbas (?) Archbishop of Koln; Cte d'Auxerre, de Tours et d'Angers, Margrave of Neustria died on 12 May 886 at Orléans, Departement du Loiret, Centre, France (now).1,2,5
Hugo Abbas (?) Archbishop of Koln; Cte d'Auxerre, de Tours et d'Angers, Margrave of Neustria was buried after 12 May 886 at Abbey of St. Germain in Auxerre, Auxerre, Departement de l'Yonne, Bourgogne, France; From Find A Grave:
     BIRTH     unknown, France
     DEATH     12 May 886, France
Hugh the Abbot (died 12 May 886) was a member of the Welf family, a son of Conrad I of Auxerre and Adelaide. After his father's death, his mother apparently married Robert the Strong, the margrave of Neustria. On Robert's death in 866, Hugh became the regent and guardian for Robert's sons, Odo and Robert.
Hugh entered the monastery and rose to become abbot of Saint-Germain d'Auxerre. Despite his vows, he was no peaceful, contemplative monk but the epitome of the warrior-monk of his age.
Hugh was endued with great political sense and fought the Vikings vigorously. He was the archchaplain of the royal court and one of the chief ministers of the joint-kings Louis III and Carloman. Hugh tried to maintain the alliance of the related Carolingian monarchs against the Vikings. He united all the Carolingian kingdoms against the usurper Boso of Provence. He supported Charles the Fat on his succession to West Francia in 884, but he died before he could lend aid to the defense of Paris during the siege of 885–86.

;      There is some dispute as to the father of Petronilla/Petronelle who m. Tertulle. Genealogy.EU says that she was the dau. of Hugo "Le Abbe" (Hugo, Abbot of St. Quintin, 802-844), an illeitimate son of Charlemagne (hereinafter Hugo #2). However, Find A Grave's memorial for Petronilla/Petronelle (#147096299) says that her father was Hugo "The Abbot" Welf (unk-886), a son of Conrad I of Auxerre (hereinafter Hugo #2).
Two articles in Wikipedia on Hugo #1 (Abbot of Saint-Quentin and son of Charlemagne), and Hugo #2 (unk-886) discusses the confusion and assigns Petronilla/Petronelle as the dau. of Hugo #2 and thus granddau. of Conrad I.
Per Wikipedia - Hugo #1:
Hugh (abbot of Saint-Quentin) - Hugh (802–844) was the illegitimate son of Charlemagne and his concubine Regina, with whom he had one other son: Bishop Drogo of Metz (801–855). Along with Drogo and his illegitimate half-brother Theodoric, Hugh was tonsured and sent from the palace of Aachen to a monastery in 818 by his father's successor, Louis the Pious, following the revolt of King Bernard of Italy.[1] Hugh rose to become abbot of several abbacies: Saint-Quentin (822/23), Lobbes (836), and Saint-Bertin (836). In 834,[1] he was made imperial archchancellor by his half-brother.[2]
On Louis's death in 840, his sons began to fight over the inheritance. In 841, Hugh sided with his nephew Charles the Bald against Louis and Lothair.[3] In 842, Charles spent Christmas with Hugh at Saint-Quentin on his eastern frontier.[4] Hugh's interventions probably secured Saint-Quentin for Charles's kingdom in the division that came with the Treaty of Verdun (843).[5]
Hugh was part of the small army which, on its way south to join Charles at Toulouse, was ambushed by Pippin II in the Angoumois on 14 June 844. Hugh was killed by a lance, and according to the anonymous verse lament composed about his death—called the Rhythmus de obitu Hugonis abbatis or Planctus Ugoni abbatis[6]—Charles wept over his body.[7][8]
Hugh is sometimes confused with Hugh the Abbot, resulting in the erroneous claim that he had a daughter, Petronilla, who married Tertullus of Anjou, the semi-legendary father of Ingelger, first count of Anjou. The late accounts of the Angevin origins actually make Petronilla a kinswoman of Hugh the Abbot, not of Charlemagne's son. (emphasis added)

Per Wikipedia - Hugo #2:
Hugh the Abbot (died 12 May 886) was a member of the Welf family, a son of Conrad I of Auxerre and Adelaide. After his father's death, his mother apparently married Robert the Strong, the margrave of Neustria. On Robert's death in 866, Hugh became the regent and guardian for Robert's sons, Odo and Robert.
Hugh entered the monastery and rose to become abbot of Saint-Germain d'Auxerre. Despite his vows, he was no peaceful, contemplative monk but the epitome of the warrior-monk of his age. King Charles the Bald sent him on a military expedition to the Nivernais. One can see in this the clerical tendency to support the reigning dynasty against the great vassals. Hugh welcomed Charles when the king had to flee during an 858 invasion of Louis the German, when his vassals refused him aid and rebelled under Robert the Strong. When Robert regained favour, Hugh was exiled to Lotharingia, where he became archbishop of Cologne (864). He was called back to France soon, however.
In 866, upon Robert's death, Hugh received all the former's abbacies, including Noirmoutiers and Saint-Martin de Tours, counties, including Tours, and the margraviate between the Seine and the Loire (Neustria). The only lands the sons of Robert inherited were in Beauce and Touraine. Despite being Robert's opponent during his life, after his death Hugh became the guardian of Robert's children. He supported Charles the Fat on his succession to West Francia in 884, but he died before he could lend aid to the defence of Paris during the siege of 885–86.

"Count Rudolph (or Rudolf) of Ponthieu (died 866) was a son of Welf (also Hwelf or Welf I) by Hedwig of Bavaria and thus a brother of Judith of Bavaria, wife of Emperor Louis the Pious. Through Judith’s influence, her brother Rudolph acquired and became Lay Abbot of the Abbeys of Saint Riquier and Jumieges.
"In April 830, Frankish nobility revolted against Emperor Louis in order to "liberate" him from the influence of his wife Judith. Louis was placed under house arrest, whilst Judith and her brothers Rudolph and Count Conrad I of Auxerre were imprisoned in Aquitanian monasteries. The two brothers were later freed when their nephew Charles the Bald assumed the throne.

      ; Per Med Lands:
" ADALHARD ([830]-after 890). His parentage is established by the charter dated 2 Nov 889 under which "Vulfardus" donated property to Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire for the souls of "genitoris mei Vulfardi et genetrice mea Susannane necnon et germanorum fratrum meorum Adelardo, Vulgrino, Ymo et sorore mee Hildeburga vel nepote meo Vulgrino"[210]. He inherited the villa Sennecey from his maternal uncle comte Eberhard. Comte 875. Comte palatin 877. Comte de Paris [885]. m ---. The name of Adalhard's wife is not known. Adalhard & his wife had two children:
"i) VULFARD ([855]-6 Sep [880/93]). Vulfard is named sororius of King Louis II[211]. The source which confirms his parentage has not yet been identified. He founded the Benedictine abbey of Flavigny. Abbé de Flavigny 875.
"ii) ADELAIS ([855/60]-18 Nov [901], bur Compiègne, église abbatiale Saint-Corneille). Regino names "Adalheidis" second wife of "Hludowicus rex filius Caroli", stating that he married her after repudiating his first wife[212]. Her paternity is indicated by Vulfard (who would have been the brother of Adelais) being named sororius of King Louis II[213]. Her marriage was not recognised by the church which did not accept her husband's separation from his first wife. The Pope refused to crown Adelais with her husband at Troyes 878, considering that she was not his legitimate wife. Her children were considered illegitimate by the church. m ([875][214]) as his second wife, LOUIS King of Aquitaine, son of CHARLES II "le Chauve" King of the West Franks & his first wife Ermentrudis [d'Orléans] (1 Nov 846-Compiègne 10 Apr 879, bur Compiègne, église collégiale Saint-Corneille). He succeeded his father in 875 as LOUIS II "le Bègue King of the West Franks.

; Per Wikipedia:
"Adalard (or Adalhard) of Paris (c. 830 – 10 October 890)[1][2] was the eighth Count of Paris and a Count palatine.[3] He was the son of Wulfhard of Flavigny and Suzanne of Paris, a daughter of Beggo, Count of Toulouse. His brother Hilduin the Young was the abbot of Saint-Denis. His brother Wulgrin I of Angoulême was appointed Count of Angoulême and Périgord. Adalard followed his uncle Leuthard II.
"Adalard had two children: a son named Wulfhard and a daughter called Adelaide of Paris (850 – 10 November 901). She married King Louis II of France and had two children with him.
