Per Genealogics:
     "It had been assumed that Mabel was the daughter of Fulk FitzWarine and Constance de Tony. However, Constance was born most likely between July 1233 and January 1236/7, and Mabel before April 1247. Onomastics points to Mabel being the daughter of Fulk, previously thought to be her grandfather, and Clarice de Auberville.
     "In 1249 Mabel probably married William de Crevequer, son of Hamo de Crevequer and Maud d'Avranches. William died before 6 April 1263, there was no progeny from this marriage. Her second husband was John de Tregoz, lord Tregoz, son of Robert de Tregoz and Juliana de Canteloup. Mabel and John were the parents of two daughters, Clarice and Sybil, both of whom would have progeny."5 Mabel Fitz Warin was also known as Mabel Fitz Warine.5

     Gilbert (?) of Carrick, co-Lord of Galloway was born circa 1116.1 He married Afraig/Alfreka/Aufrika (?) of Fife, daughter of Duncan I "Dhonnchad" Macduff Mormaer (Earl) of Fife, circa 1169
;

Gilbert (?) of Carrick, co-Lord of Galloway died on 1 January 1185.1,5
      ; Per Genealogics:
     “Gilbert, Gilbrighte or Gillebride was co-lord of Galloway with his brother Uchtred. They were the sons of Fergus, lord of Galloway. With his wife Aufrica of Fife, Gilbert had several children of whom Duncan would have progeny.
     “During the disturbances that followed the capture of William 'the Lion', king of Scots, by the English in 1174, Gilbert slew Uchtred and offered his loyalty to the English king, Henry II. This was refused, on account of his fratricide. After the Treaty of Falaise in December 1174 between William and Henry II, William was freed in 1175 and marched into Galloway. Gilbert escaped with a fine, but rewarded this leniency with war against Scotland, rejecting offers to buy peace. About 9 October 1176 he paid homage and fealty to King Henry II at Feckenham, giving his son Duncan as hostage.
     “Gilbert was benefactor of the nunnery of North Berwick, founded by Duncan of Fife about 1150. He died on 1 January 1185 and was succeeded by Duncan.”.4
